Hey guys, just picked up a used 03 cl with 123k. overall in good condition, except the grinding or scraping coming from the right front passenger area. happens slow and at full speed. also seems to happen more during night driving as odd as that sounds. My thoughts could be stuck caliper, but rotors are smooth. could it be a bad strut or strut mount? it rides smooth. also was thinking axle, wheel bearing, tie rod ends? service says lower ball joints were replaced in 09. thanks for any help!

 

Jack the car up and spin the wheel. It might help you narrow it down.

Ive had a pebble stuck between the rotor and the splash shield that caused a grinding, screeching noise.

But it could be the wheel bearing.

 

could be the brake pads retainers...
