My seat will not go back not forth so I feel like I am driving a smart car. There is a clicking sound but no movement. Checked for coins but found nothing. Please help dealer wants 115 just to see what it is

forget using a wd 40, use a proper grease meant for the job...

 

You need to free the gear using a screw driver or chisle. Get it moving and then put in some new grease. It will be slow going at first getting the gear to move. Be patient and you will get it going....I have done several and some are easier than others...
