if you guys like it now, wait till I get the new DT3 wheels refinished. All I got to do after that is 9 lb boost pulley and a stronger cluth, then I'm gonna consider the new paintjob, Lexus pearl white, the clam shell looking one.

I posted this on another thread, but its so nuts, I had to share it here too...

The craziest thing just happened. I feel liek a tard. I went out to adjust the boot on the shifter since it was all uneven from the short shifter, I took it out of gear and the parking brake was down. I brought the boot inside to adjust it, I come back to the car and its gone. I was like WTF, it was down the street pushing a neighbors fence in. It missed a parked car by like 3 feet. I just need a new bumper cover, but damn, that was friggin close, it rolled by itself for like 100 yard. friggin CRAZY! guess I'll be replacing and repainting the front bumper, and RJ lip instead of the boost upgrade. Thank God nobody was hurt, and the only damage was just the bumper cover, the headlights, hood everything is still perfect.

Car looks good though, nice work.

I'm not a fan of slamming cars or less than an inch of sidewall therefore I've always thought anything above 17's looked out of place on a CL but these almost look like they were designed for your car. Simple amazing. I dont think they would look near as good on any other color CL though!

So I'm putting these 19" raven black machined Legends for sale in the Black market, $1350 for the set with tires & lugs. And I'm gettin ready to put the refinished Devotion Type III on once the winter is over. I these Legends alot, but I already have like 3 sets of wheels in my garage and don't really need another set taking up space. Right now I'm going back to the Legend GT with all seasons for the winter. I barely drive the car in snow, and I got my Honda pilot for that anyway.

Already compiled a new list of mods for this spring, the car is gonna be fresh with new stuff:

- Refinished Devotion Type III 19" x 8.5" front, 20" X 8.5" rear.
- 225/35/19 Toyo proxes 4 front, 225/30/20 rear.
- Wideband O2 Sensor and 3 gauge pillar.
- New front bumper.
- New Front lip.
- Paint for front bumper and lip.
- Custom silver lower vents with black mesh openings.
- Have chrome parts converted to Silver Vinyl.
(Door surround, "A" bar and chrome strip on lower intake)
- 2 scratched interior pieces replaced with fresh pieces.
- S2K fuel injectors.
- New short shifter boot made from neoprene material

...which brings me to my latest small project, a decent low shift boot, check it, i just have to find a more stretchy material to be able to take the shifts, then glue it and staple it to the shift surround frame. I'll have the hole where the shifter stem passes thru double stitched for durability. Also needs to be more flat, but all that will come soon, this was just a test fit for placement.

check it out:

couldn't use the oem boot? is it moving everytime u shift or something? if so, u gotta "prep" it so it doesn't pull the boot which in turns pulls the whole shifter bezel. what i did was, put it in 2nd gear, start pulling the boot down (its getting caught in the front, so pay attention there) so it goes over the large ss assembly. then you should be good, might take u a few tries, but mine doesn't budge, make sure u trimmed both the bezel and the creme pieces. i just did the top and right corner extending almost all the way to the top left and bottom right corners.

Interesting boot idea.

Still confused on what the final boot will look like...

Can't wait to see the new mods.

Not that I couldn't get the boot to work, I also trimmed the area where reverse goes into so it wouldn't knock the trim out of place. But this looks so much cleaner than a wrinkled up fake leather boot. Gonna pick up the material today and have my shoe repiar guy stick it for me. I would love to do something like how Volvo has, with the ball joint looking shifter, but thats not possible.

Just where the stem hits as it goes far right into reverse. Its nothing a dremel can't fix.

I got that covered. I just need a new boot frame and emblem, I cracked mine trying to take it off. What I'm doing is just refining what I goit already, it works great and looks so clean.
