Scooter:

Do you ever find it harder to remove when it's been in the sun all day?

I seemed to be able to remove it easier when it had stayed in my garage for a number of hours, rather than in the sun.

Looking good though! How many coats is that?

ok, here's a background for the past couple weeks...last weekend, i did a major project to remove as many swirls as i can using the 3M Swirl Remover #39009...since the 3M is ulta abrasive, it's like doing a Dawn and clay at the same time...so ok, did that...then i Dawn washed to get all the 3M residue off...next i used Z1 (since i don't have ZFX yet) and let it sit for a few minutes...then i put Z2 right on top of the Z1 and let it sit for a few hours...then buffed...let it sit for a little bit, then i put the Z6 on to top it all off...so that was last weekend

this weekend, i wanted to get a coat of Z5 in, so i washed the car with Z7 car wash and dried...then i put on Z5 and let it bake in the sun from 11 til about 4, both the hottest time of the day as well as the most direct sunlight overhead for an even drying time...buffed off and applied Z6 to top it off.

each person has a different method of Zaino'ing...since i have swirls, i prefer to alternate the Z5 swirl reducer with the Z2 Polish...other people Z5 once or twice every few months, which is fine...i've heard people feel that the Z5 doesn't act as well as the Z2 as a top coat retaining it's deep shine, so they prefer the Z2 as a top coat...ZFX really helps that way...if u need to Z5, but u like the top coat of Z2, ZFX will let u do as many as three coats within a short period of time, so some will do combos of 2 coats of Z5 and 1 coat of Z2, or 1 coat Z5 and 2 coats of Z2...it's personal preference really.

hard question to answer b/c of a few factors...first, it depends on how many previous coats of Zaino u have on...the trick is the more coats u have, the easier it is to apply and take off...since this was my second coat since my project last week, it was somewhat difficult compared to previous Zaino'ing before my project...if i remember correctly, i had close to 20 coats on since late last summer before my project last weekend, so Zaino'ing now is totally different for me.

another factor is how thick of a coat u're putting on...since i'm rather liberal when it comes to using Zaino, i figured the first few coats were very critical for a lasting effect, while coats thereafter merely support and enhance the effect, but at a lessor rate...so my coats of Z1 and Z2 were very thick last weekend, and the Z5 today was thick as well...so yeah, it took a longer than normal period of time to buff off, but it's worth it...if anything, i'd rather error on the side of caution...if i used too much product, that's ok...i'm not doing any harm by it...i just wanna make sure i have a GOOD foundation of Zaino so future coats will b a cinch to put on/take off

so the answer to your question is yes, it was hard to take off, but it just requires a little more patience
