Turbo Accord V6

As promised here are the pix of my friend's turbo on his 2000 Accord V6. The turbo is the one-off produced by prototype racing and HKS. No dyno charts or anything because the car is nowhere near done...the turbo is not visible because it'smounted behind the engine under a heat shield

Not yet, like I said the car is nowhere near done, this includes fixing a HUGE gash on the driver's side door and installing a FiberImages CF Hood, and 18" gunmetal Volk Racing LE37's. Right now the car is at level 10 where they are trying to get the new tranny to cooperate, no body work until all the running gear is completed. After all that then its time for the AEM EMS chip

That's awesome. Did he do anything to the engine internally? Besides the turbo, what else is done to the engine/tranny to get it to cooperate? Thanks for the pics.

it's not actually my car, i'm just doing my friend a favor and throwing up his pics. The car was conceived with input from myself, Vinny Ten, J.Y. Mok, Mike and Frankie at the Performance Factory NYC.

Pumped: the tranny is a full Level 10 built tranny, including upgraded line pressure, TC etc etc. the current motor runs a mild 6 psi and the tranny is not meshing very well and the stock ECU still does not recognize boost. When the AEM chip comes in it will be tuned to control VTEC, shift points, fuel delivery etc. A crate J30 motor is also being built with stronger pistons, valve springs, custom-fab crankshaft, con-rods larger injectors and a thicker head gasket. Once done the turbo system will be transferred over with a possible turbo swap from the current Garret/HKS unit to a Turbonetics model.
