The picture was taken with a digital camera. The camera I use is what I consider to be one of the best deals out there for digital cams. Its a Casio QV-3000EX. I picked it up on Ebay (new) for about $350. The only other things you will really need are a couple sets of 4 AA NiMh batteries a good NiMh charger, and a good sized compact flash card or it will even take the IBM MicroDrive (up to 1gig now!)
As far as the camera its 3.34 megapixel, uses the same Lens and CCD Imager as the Canon G1. It takes GREAT point and click shots and also has a full range of manual controls. I highly recommend it.
