When the TB service is performed, it might be prudent to have the radiator hoses evaluated as well.

That's a good thing. From what I understand, it (replacing the coolant hoses) is a fairly expensive and labored job.

Once the TB is changed, you'll be ready for another 100K miles.

Yea I'm glad he did. One less thing I have to worry about. More money towards mods lol. I plan on putting a lot more miles on it and then get Paul to rebuild it for me.

I'm guessing that the hoses were taken care of when the tranny was out for repair?

Will your car be the first NSX Paul has worked on? I'm sure it will be a welcome addition to his learned mechanical skillsets if it is.

i had already known about that common problem with nsx's but thanks for giving me a heads up about that. im still a nsx noob and learning the ropes with the car.

another common problem that nsx's run into is the climate control mother board or something. if i turn the a/c on it only comes on full blast or wont come on at all. i searched about it on prime and they confirmed thats a common problem but fixable. so there goes some of my mod money lol. it just started doing it a few days ago.

times like this is making me think i need to hold on to the CL a little longer. the car is going to have to go to the shop for climate control fix and i talked to a comany the other day that does interior seat repair to make the seats look brand new. they told me they come out take your seats out and fix them and bring them back. so yea the car wont be drivable for a few days. so im going to need that second car.

lol, the post above with the miles on the car was the main reason I thought I would mention the coolant tubes. As you may know, it's one of those things when the engine is out of the car for any reason, make sure to take care of any ancillary parts that show wear due to age etc. It does'nt do the wallet any favors; however, it is usually a wise investment in the looong run.

In regards to holding on to the CL. It seems quite a few people are bailing from the platform for varied reasons; however, if it still serves a useful purpose in your individual situation, there is nothing like having a decent (paid off) spare car around.

Good Luck.

Why not get a repaired CC?

http://nsxe-repair.com/Climate.html

Hes active on Prime too:

http://www.nsxprime.com/forum/itrader.php?u=7588

Also, the window regulators on the NSXs suck. But Dali Racing has the "window fix-it thingies" that work wonders.

The interior temp sensor has an aspirator fan that will sometimes make a clicking noise. Replacement for that little POS fan is a few hundred dollars. Some people have just sprayed compressed air into the vent to blow the dust off the fan and that fixes it.

Nice progress. I find it kinda funny that the non cl threads are the most popular in a cl forum.

It's dangerous sometimes for me to drive it. Had a truck almost change lanes on top of me recently because the car is so low he couldn't see me.

Will all the buttons work?

Im kind of partial to the RSX wheel TBH. Its minimal. The Civic/CSX wheel looks way too chunky in an NSX.
