theres been a few people who have done a wide body on the CL before

 

I'd rather not do the widebody. I think the CL looks better with the stock body lines. The one widebody CL on az IMO looks like ass. I've already slightly pulled the rear fenders. That's about as far as I'm going to go with that.

the only other plans i got for this car is to fix it, put the supercharger back on and get new rims. after that i dont think im going to do anything else. im trying to get my finances straight so i can get a Q45 and VIP it next summer.

 

Will you be keeping the CL also?

 

oh yea im keeping it. my CL is months away from being paid off. ive put way too much money into to just sell it.

 

i got the full breakdown of the insurance claim today and i was surprised that the insurance company appraised my car at $8100. they took account for all the custom/aftermarket stuff done to the car. i didnt think the insurance car about the cared about that stuff.

what you dont see is all 3 of my wheel studs broke off and the other 2 cracked from the accident. on the driver side wheel.

a month before i went to boot camp for the navy i got hit by a drunk driver. thats what happened to my accord. that shit left a scar on my face. next time i come back to GA i got to check out your 240.

 

yea its not too bad. oh yea i forgot the wheel bearing is also fucked up. but still its all easy fixable stuff. yea it dont need the whole thing painted. but whatever it aint costing me extra so as long as i get it back at a decent time. i miss the fuck out of my car.

diddy you said that it was raining and you over corrected right ? same thing happened to me today and yesteday... i took a turn a bit to fast and my rear end was drifting like RWD car lol i did not panic and i corrected it but what i found out that my swaybar link is broken... so you may check that too.

I saw that the door panel had been removed so I'm assuming he started out trying pdr but ended up doing it differently.

How fast were you going? You made it pretty far on the grass.

 

honestly i dont know. i was going a little faster than i should have though. the ground was soaked because it had just stormed so the the ground was kind of muddy so the car slide so much easier after it hit the grass.

headlights
didnt need to get a new hood like i thought. we decided to sand the hood down to bare metal and repaint it. after getting the hood completely sanded down we found out before i bought my car it was previously repainted. thats why the hood and fenders paint werent in the best shape.

thanks. i thought so too. but i went to my local dealer and they said i should have it by friday. its currently located in Cali.

 

I just checked out the prices on the kit. Might be picking one up myself

 

the front lip is $400 but they price matched acuraoemparts.com so i got it for $300.

Or better yet, whats the part number? Im looking at the 99-01 lips and the only one that is $399 is Dark Emerald Pearl. All the others are $119.

EDIT - Im seeing some HUGE inconsistencies between sites for parts. I need to look into this a bit more.

Double Edit - I need to make a few calls monday.

The PN I found for a 99-01 front lip shows up as an 02-03 front lip, which is the one with the vents and is $300.
