That is such a sik ride!!! Congratulations on the new ride. I love the E46 body style. Which tuner are you going to go with? Hamann? ACschnitzer? RDsport? Definitely peep:

www.dtmpower.net & www.bimmerforums.com

I used to have a '99 M3 and frequented both boards. I can't wait until I'm back in another M3

Has anybody ever wondered if the guys at the BMW forums are constantly talking smack about our car? Why do most people get so defensive whenever someone mentions BMWs? They are great cars! I would nevery buy one though, too many people, including a lot of my friends have them! But there is a good reason for that!!!
...crazy, do you post anywhere else, can you tell us?

The lips are ugly??? my friend has the full hamann bodykit including eyelids and grill with the m3 lip on his 325Ci convertable and its looks sick. Its way better then the wing bmw offers IMO,but that is just my opinion.

:ghey: A 99 M3 will beat a cl-s...it doesnt matter how much horses a car has.When its geared right it can be fast.Also i wouldnt sleep on a 330 5 speed.With 2 good drivers it'll be a sick race.

the car just looks so complete...1 of the things i especially like is how the body contours itself around the wheels...the small gap is universal in a perfect half-moon shape, thanks to the side-skirts and bumper covers...the car just screams aggressive...weakest point on the car i can see (every car has its weakest point) is the side mirrors...i would like to see them a bit more sporty, but they're still fine in that they compliment the car nicely.

how do u find them Pilot Sports????????

yea i didnt know what that was either... but i asked the bmw forums and they say there a tow hitch behind it.... I guess thats where the tow truck would hook it up to so it can pull the car onto a flatbed.

Those tires that are on the car seem great!! They came with the car.. i dunno how I got them cuz i talked to some local bmw guys and they didnt get them.. they got all seasons...

Plan is... get winter tires on those stock rims... then in spring get some 19s...

I think you open the square and screw in a tow hitch. look kind of like an eye bolt. you ever notice the squares on the sides of a mercedes? thats where you jack it up from! very strange!

That is sweet as hell!!! Your honest opinion Jesal, how does the 330 compare to the TL-S??? Nobody talk shit when he replies to this also!!! But I want your honest opinion!!! I wonder how a 03
6sp CL-S would feel to your 5sp 330Ci?

How long have you had it so far?

BTW there have been many kill stories of how a CL-S/TL-S have taken out the 99,98,97,96,95 M3 If either car isn't modded! One could have the header the other could have a Dinan SC and say WOW I smoked that CL-S :P

Ok heres is my 200 miles reveiw......

As everyone knows my TLS was modded, with sways, springs, custom tie bars, and Strut bars... and even headers, exhaust, pulleys, and intake.

Now with all those mods in the TLS it still felt like a boat to me. It wasnt what i was looking for. Now with the 330ci, its feels 10x better. The steering, and handling can not be compared to the modded TLS. There is a reason guys why they call bmws the ultimate driving machine, cuz its just that! I dont care what people say, but there is steer torque in the TLS/CLS... and after modding it, it just wasnt fun to drive since you had to hold the steering wheel straight while you can feel the wheels spin. Of course the 330ci doesnt have that problem. Another thing that the TLS was lacking was TORQUE, i do alot of local city driving and low end torque would have been nice to have in the TLS. The 330ci is a perfect car for driving around town, it has that low end torque that I was looking for. And of course doing local driving the auto tranny was pissing me off in the TLS, it had no idea what gear to be in and it was very jerky. Of course the 5-speed doesnt do that since I control if i want the car to jerk or not.

I had the car for only one week, so I will have a better review later on. The first 2 days i got it i wondered if i made a right choice.. but now that a week has gone by... i can say I do not miss my TLS.

Flame away....

I agree with your review.

driven many BMW's for many miles...

the FEEL of it cannot be match or even approached by any of our acuras.

straight from the factory the way it handles just inspires confidence that i could never have in even the most heavily modified CL/TL.

and yea, the TL and even more so the CL have lots of torque steer. From the factory it doesnt feel that way because the tires just let go of the road... but it is very apparent with sticky tires that there is tons of torque steer there.

Likewise...
I drove a 325 of a friends whose license was held up for a while and it was a great handler, yet it seemed I had to really step on it to get the thing to move. I enjoyed driving it up and down the twists of California’s coastal hwy 1. Yet still I would never own one... Bimmer owners tend to be "dickheads"
