looks good, glad to see more cl-p's on here. Whats up with the ULEV badge on the engine. I know my cl-p is considered a LEV but I've never seen anything on the engine like that.

This is such a clean ride, but definitely not good deal.

1. Not type S
2. Tranny warranty is almost over. 109,000 miles or 93 months (7.75 years)
3. No Navi

But I have to agree that this car is so NEW and CLEAN. It looks just like a new car in dealer lot.

We have a 2000 TL and it has the same thing on it. It stands for Ultra Low Emissions Vehicle...

Ok figured it out. CL's made for california only were ULEV while all other states got LEV's, so yours must have been a california model.

maybe yours just fell off?

edit: found this in the "everything you need to know about the CL" thread.
"High performance does not necessarily mean high levels of vehicle
emissions, as both the 3.2CL and Type S models meet tough LEV
(Low Emission Vehicle) standards while California models (3.2CL
only) meet ULEV (Ultra Low Emission Vehicle) standards."
So that means that Both CL-Ps and CL-S' are LEV vehicles, but all Cali models are ULEV as well.

Although i find it strange that if it was made only for California, mine is ULEV all the way in Jersey...

You didnt receive the letter?? It said that Honda/Acura odometer has been overcounting, and so it will not be accurate. So they extended the warranties a bit to cover the over count miles. Too bad it doesnt apply to me anymore.

I have heard that ULEV means it's more likely cali model because of different law issue. Cali has amore strict emission rule. It might applies to some other states such as NJ as well. Who knows.

NJ has no emission. everytime i go there it is like going into a wall of smog. but they really don't though. my buddy bought a DSM from NJ and had to change stuff to get it to pass in NY.
