that's a RJ grill?? I thought RJ grill was usually black meshed?

looks like you're going with the ghetto fabulous look - i would get 22's. 20"s are for pussies.

probably H&R Sports would be ideal or Tein H Tech, but coilovers are better since you can adjust it.

Well you asked, not a fan of that type of grill at all, tho I know Ron Jon's designs are liked around here. Reminds me of old Chrylsers, I just don't get it, I guess.
Rims look like they want to spin.
I like how you've matched the neighbor's car, I guess. It sure looks clean (stale) around there too. Not a suburb fan.

Not my cup of tea either but to each his own. From the looks of things (and without knowing specs, I could be wrong), if you drop it on those wheels, you're gonna rub like there's no tomorrow.

you should lower it. You should only end up rubbing when you hit a real big dip. But I think everyone who has their cl lowered rubs every once in a while. Unless they have extremly small or narrow wheels and tires.

The RJ grille comes in silver mesh originally. You pay a bit extra to get it painted black, but you are warned that it will most likely be chipped from daily driving.

You should take apart your headlamps and paint them silver, then I think the front will look good. Those wheels look too big for the car with that stance, not a fan

If you drop it. It would look cleaner and not like a 4x4 plus better handling, cause I know that thing is swaying like crazy... I know mine did when I had my 19's and it wasn't lowered.

and not that it would make it look that much better but i think the angle isnt to flattering i could get a side shot and that would be a little more flattering to the rim design too.....but like i said good or bad i appreciate the feedback

I've only seen a select few people pull off anything bigger than 19s. I think it is the style of the rim and not the size that doesn't look good to me. As for lowering I know where you live as I use to live there also. Just be carefull as you know there are a few decent pot hole that would definetely cause rubbing.

I NEVER rub. It's all about choosing the correct wheels for the car. I say do it right or don't do it at all IMO.

I forgot who it was but he had 20 inch konig prophets and the car looked awesome. The design of the wheel is whats getting you the negative feedback, it does look like a truck rim but again if you like it then drive it. Good Luck bro

That was Morgan040 he had the 20" chrome prophets that looked like it was made for the CL. I don't remember what drop he had though, he has since put the wheels on his 3G TL.

Sorry man but it sounds to me like that guy is awaiting a call from the collection agency if he's complimenting your car.

Do a search for local wheel repair, you will need it. No questions asked.

Konig Prophets or Foose Speedsters are the only 20's that look really good on CL's IMO. Im not feelin' the grill, the wheels, the hieght or the "DUB" sticker

I really hope you didn't take that as a serious compliment. It's like a grown man trying to relate to a retarded child on the street. Of course he'll say it looks 'ok'; it's a pity comment.

i think the cl would look better in person rather than in the one pic you took..

i guess a drop wouldnt hurt and if all your aiming for is good looks then yea you should do that. people who dont know cls and what they are capable of looking like will compliment you all day so your set..
but anyways, nice clean whip, take care of it

I've heard people nowadays use words as "sick" as a good thing. Might be somewhere along the same line of thought. Though I could, and pray that I'm not, be completely wrong.
