Thats how mine was looking after they salted the roads after rain (WHA?) wednesday night. Spent thursday washing it. It sucks owning a black car.

Yeah, dirty car in the NE is common, a clean car will only last about half a day, too much salt and melting snow to keep it clean.

 

that's not neglect. that's just someone using their car. it's not that bad, you can still tell it was black. i couldn't see where my headlight were after a weekend ski trip in to the interior. now that was bad but still not neglect.

 

I don't know about you guys, but me personally would never let my car get that bad (even living in New England). The only other mods I'd like to do would be some coilovers and 19's.

on the serious note, I lived in Boston as a kid, and I remember my dad would wash the car on the weekend, and come monday after work it looked like that. Neglect nah, just dirty

Thats the issue when living up here in Toronto. I would wash the car off but by the time i get to work the next morning its just as dirty again. When its this time of year its impossible to keep the car clean for a few days... well, unless one doesnt drive it. I try to wash it once a week tho, or, if i know there will be a few days of sun. Heck, i wash it more in the winter than in the summer time.

 

agreed and its just as much salt in chicago i find myself washing min couple times a weeks almost
