just wondering how many inches are you off the ground with the front lip? Do you have any problems exiting and entering driveways?

yeah, the car is lowered w/ H&R sport springs. 1.75"/1.75" f/r
the front lip is about 5-6" of the ground. it is low and i have problems getting out the driveway. you have to drive at angles in and out of slopes.

Well, for me...it's taken 5 working days (shop says it'll be ready today ) so far. Install price is about $800USD. But, methinks it'll cost a bit more since I got my stock rims repaired to remove scratches and stuff...

$800 IS CRAZY. AFTER I PUT MINE ON, I DONT THINK THERE IS MORE THAN $200 WOTH OF WORK, AND THATS HIGH. IT TOOK ME ABOUT 4-5 HOURS.

Yeah...I was surprised about the price too. However, after calling around for estimates, it seems all the reputable bodyshops around here charge around that price. The last thing I wanted after spending the money to buy the kit was a crap install (as I see in many cars around here where the idiot spends a bucket on a kit and cheaps out on the install and it looks like garbage)...

The bodyshop guys did do a very nice job IMHO. The manager (he did comment about his surprise on how the kit was lacking mounting hardware) walked through with me everything they were going to do:

1-the kit had to be "reshaped again" because Versus packed the kit into a small box and warped the shape all four sides
2-remove bumpers for fitting
3-fit the kit onto the body of the car
4-paint the kit with a special paint so that it maintains as much flex as possible in the eurethane

The price of materials wasn't so bad...but, it was the labor that kinda added up to the $800 so quickly...

I'll post pics soon...! Still a small bit of work to do...

I don't think he was aiming that at you.

Think he's saying there are more of those kinds of people(that do shiity prep to an expensive kit) than people who do it right.
