lowered my car - UPDATED Pics below
It was a nice day so I finally got the chance to put in the Teins that was sitting in the garage for the last 2 months. It took about 6hours to do this by myself except help from a friendly foot to step down the front passenger knuckle.
The front needs to be adjusted more but I hope it'll settle more after a day or two. The rear has a 1 finger gap while the front has a 2 finger gap. Here are the pics of before and after...
Agenda of the day... Inserting these four lovely pieces of metal into the car
The stock rear is longer than the Teins

After

Nice...but I think the "raked" look is better...ie: lower in front and higher in back.
Give it a few days, they will settle a lot.
we have the same toys in our car:
where do you have your struts set at?

chikai - right now I have them each at the recommended 8, i'll have to drive around more without the back seat til I get a good feel for it. For now, it feels like any other lowered Honda I've driven.

This maybe a stupid question, but when you turn the collar to adjust the ride height up or down does the spring compress/decompress ??
If so, aren't you changing the characteristics of the spring? Therefore the higher you raise the car the more compressed the spring is and the more dampening you need????
I'm lost....
