So, it has been a while since I last updated. A lot has happened in-between then and now, but not too much with the car. To recap what is done to the car now:
- Lowered on tein coilovers (not maxxed out)
- Micro DE fog lights 3k morimoto 35 hid
- Progress rear sway (on looser setting) and moog endlinks on all four corners
- intake silencer removed
- Custom license plate bracket
Otherwise its pretty much stock right now...but we got a big pile of parts waiting to go on over winter break and in the spring:
- Enkei PF01's 18x8 +45 235/40
- Hybrid racing bushings
- SS shifter cable
- New Slave cylinder (need to order)
- Greddy EVO2 catback exhaust
Now for a list of possible parts that I want to get before spring:
- New drivers side headlight (bumper is stuck to the car so this one should be interesting)
- New Weighted shift knob that is lower than stock to reduce the tallness of the shifter itself
- New lug nuts
- Possible rear camber kit
- Brake upgrade due to horribly warped rotors
- I really want headers but its looking like I will have to wait awhile until some come out
So that is my update for now. Enjoy some pictures of my car as she sits recently!
Then at the acurazine tri-state fall meet with two other CL's
And lastly, one of my favorite pictures of her:
So I am gonna be updating this more and more now that I have parts and want to take the car to another level so feel free to chime in!!!

Clean. What do you mean the bumper is stuck to the body?

The three screws that hold the bumper down are completely rusted through and fused tight and they wont budge. I think they will have to be drilled out but I don't fell confident doing it myself because I don't know how far they go and stuff.

hahah you think I haven't tried those brother? No movement and I was wailing on it. its the three screws on top of the bumper, under that piece of moulding you take off, right where the grill meets the bumper when the hood is closed.

I know which ones youre talking about. I had the same issue. The impact got them out though.

Its shaping up well. If you do go lower, you'll need the rear camber kit. I recommend the Ingalls lower arms.

Yeah 6mt over here. Waiting on the headers that are in design phase right now or if any comptechs come up for sale. Morgan you have your own custom headers correct?

Yep. I havent put the car on the dyno though so I have no idea what sort of power they made. I definitely feel more power in the midrange though, and the top end is nice too.

So after getting together with Morgan and Jake I have come to the conclusion that much clutch is toast. I am going to replace it with all OEM and possibly the P2R disc. The CDD and check valve will be coming out as well. there goes all my headers money

National CL-S6 owners meetup in Richmond. You weren't invited, for obvious reasons.

Oh, almost forgot, I figured out why I missed second. I was hitting the second gear/reverse gate. I got a new reverse lockout (part of a rattle fix from the short shifter manufacturer) and the tab on it is slightly narrower then the old one. So the reverse stop needed to be moved a few millimeters towards the passenger side. Oops.

Oh okay good, I am glad it was mechanical, I can now stop being so disappointed at your driving! :-p JKJK your car is awesome and like we talked about, fun as hell. I haven't had that much fun in a car in a while!

Those wheels are low offset, for this car at least. Once the fenders are rolled Im sure King will go lower to really set off the wheels.

Plan for right now for anyone who cares to know is:
-just sold one of my cameras (other hobby) and will be ordering a rear camber kit asap to be put on at the end of summer
-new drivers side headlight (installed while I deploy)
-2 step paint correction and sealant(installed while I deploy)
-get back from deployment
-install clutch hose, new front motor mount poly filled, install camber kits, roll fenders, shave bumper tabs, lower it more, drive the shit out of her.
Boom

Thanks Jake, miss you man. The car was sitting nice but Morgan and I had to raise it up due to horrible rubbing so her stance sucks right now

How do you like the tein basis? those are the ones i've been eyeballing... Civic how do you remove that clutch dampener? From what I gather it makes the disengage more responsive?

Morgan, I am leaving in about 3 weeks, get up here with that intake and them hoses! And yeah I loved it lower, this new ride height sucks.
Fort, I love the teins, one of the best options for CL's. Ride quality is close to stock, drop is perfect, excellent build quality!

Quick update:
Here is how she sat at the end of summer. Plans for this spring are headers, and a possible rear motor mount. Then a full suspension overhaul in the fall, as well as new intake manifold, intake and ported runners. That will finish up the car for now. Then to just drive it till it dies then 3.5. I will update this when parts and progress roll in, as well as when I have questions
