You can get a rough idea from this post http://www.acura-cl.com/forums/showt...at+is+your+age , I would recommend that you post in Car Talk next time for a more desirable response. Here's another one http://www.acura-cl.com/forums/showt...at+is+your+age and one last one http://www.acura-cl.com/forums/showt...ght=poll+style

.
Im 23 , just got outta college, wanted a nicer car then my last Sebring Conv't--
I just got my 1st "real job"--even though I have been working Pt. time two different jobs, 60 hrs/wk) So I figured it was time to treat myself--so I bought the CL-S...It wasnt until I came across this web site that I started modding my car...I just felt like I needed to do something to "keep up w/ the Jones's"

What's an allowance?
Be very thankful of your fortune.
How do people afford the mods after the car purchase? Credit card or they spend the money they saved by not buying a BMW.

Revving at 9K...
Damn.. I WISH my parents bought my car.. I still have about 9k to pay it off.. I guess with all the sh*t I put on my car, I could have almost paid off my car..
Oh well.. after I found this site, I just felt like I needed to keep up, since I see so many nice rides on this board, and I wanted to set myself apart when I'm at golf courses and I see another CL driven by an old lady..
(what the hell are they driving a CL anyway??)

So long as you understand and appreciate the value of money and take care of what you get, then it's all good. Props to parents who can do this sort of thing. I've met a lot of kids who got new cars, etc and treat it like junk. They don't know the value of a dollar. And for one in particular it was interesting to see the change when their family lost everything.

i go to a prep school so i dont get too much shit about the car there, but anytime i meet kids from the publics round town the conversation goes......
kid - "16 huh? so what car are you driving"
ME - "An Acura"
kid - "oh, an integra?"
ME - "A CL Type S"
kid - "o, so what do your parents do?"
anyother 16-17-18's here get this same thing? its awefully awkward IMO.
