I've spent the last two years lusting after a 6-speed. Finally picked one up on Friday. At $15K for 67K miles, it wasn't a record breaking deal by any means, but this car was in great condition. My neighbor thought it was brand new, and the interior is spotless . Well here are the pics!







It already has AEM CAI, neuspeed SFS, and 04+ TL rims. Now I just need to replace that butt plug masquerading as a shift knob. I'll wait till next summer to do headers and maybe a few other small performance enhancers.

Oh yeah, almost forgot. I'll include a little teaser for the other mod that's coming Tuesday:

Ur post reminded me of the "real" mystery mod. haha that shit was so funny-lol at people actually believing that crap would work.

And yes, speakers are the next thing. I'm gonna run an alpine mrd1005 with the d9 12in. ~1000 wrms-should set off a few car alarms. Gonna have to wait till saturday now, gotta build myself a box first.

Thinking of doing tints at the same time. What do you guys think? 5% in the back and 35% in the front? (Front tint is illegal in MI)

1 12" not sure if that'll set off car alarms, but maybe yours will..

illegal eh? 35% is light, maybe you'll get away with it... having uneven tint will help throw off some cops... but it won't look as good as having even tint. but for ur, uneven tint would be better.


i'd like to hear and see ur set up. ported box?

As for the car alarms, it remains to be seen. All I know is that this sub is a monster-weighs about as much as my golden retriever in its box (ported of course).

Yeah I pretty much have to do the uneven setup. I feel like I've seen cars come from the dealer with 35%, and I know many friends with 25% up front with no tickets. My understanding is that a cop won't pull you over just for having tints, and if I do get pulled over-you can bet my window will be rolled all the way down so I can talk to the nice officer! Ha that's a big if tho-especially with that V1 and hopefully some laser stoppers for Christmas.
