My Stock Type-S wheels were badly curbed, so I wanted an upgrade, but nothing too flashy. I liked the stock TL wheels, so that seemed logical. The overall dimensions and specs are very similar, but the offset goes from 44 on the CL-S wheels to 55 on the TL wheels meaning they stick out farther from the car. I bought the wheels on EBay and added XGT Z4 Michelins in 235-45-17's, the stock size for the TL wheels. I thought about lowering, but I was worried about rubbing since I haul the kids sometimes. Also, the mounting shop said that these cars do not have a camber adjustment and the camber could go squirrelly if lowered. I thought I would have a monster mudder look with the bigger offset, but I am actually very pleased with the results. I think it’s sporty and sexy. This is a 2001 Type S Nav with 31,000 miles.

First attempt posting pictures, hope this works. 03 CL-S M/T, ~73,000 km. Had her just over a year. Have tanabe NF springs on. Wanted the front a bit lower, but i'm not changing anything now. Feels just like stock. Got them installed for free, so can't complain. AEM intake. Going to look at some 19s tomorrow...
