Got my 2tone pics up
Hey ACZine members finally got my 2 tone pics...it was kind of cloudy that day so u cant see the effect of the paint sorry

What is the close up of? is it that little dip above the driver front tire? Take a little wider pic of it so we can make it out. Well, i have to say i'm glad to see the pics. When your old thread died i thought we'd never see the pics. I will say i don't like it, BUT, if you like it that's cool, thats why it's your car. The silver and pink just don't match so well imo. But what really makes it look weird is the grill with the silver/pink/silver/pink/silver thing going on. If the part of the grill that was black was left black, i honestly think it would look better. But it'd still be pink and silver(forgive the man in me for not being able to appreciate that
)Glad you came through w/ the pics though, i was definitely curious if it was a two-tone i'd like. Where's the pic of you next to your car though, It could bring it up a notch!
Edit: wow, now if that wasn't a male chauvinist type thing to say i dont know what is. lol. I should be ashamed of myself.

I like it, good job on the painted stripes.
A few things to clean it up:
black out the chrome around the windows,
I agree with ron on the wheels.. def. silver,
Black out the front mouth on the bumper.. like it was stock,
and paint the door handle silver

Now, i have seen some "chick" cars that can pull off the pink. Like an civic egg hatch that was pink with white rims. it still didn't look "great" but it was pretty cool to see a done up car driven by a chick. always hot.
i just dont think the two tone in this case works for either the car or the colors. Pink and white might have looked better. I dunno, not a fan.

That is of my pin stripe just wanted to show what it looked like not just a little stripe that seperated the 2tone that stripe took nearly 3 weeks
I plan to take some more pictures when the weather isnt so ugly over here. I thot about blacking out my my trim pieces but I didnt like it thot it was too much went well with my wheels & the grill couldnt just end the pink at the hood it had to roll of a little with my pin stripe But thanks for the compliments

Not what I expected but right on for doing something different.
I think you are a standout original with your pink & silver CL.
First one I've ever seen for sure!
+1 For silver rims....rims do not flow with the rest of the car...
+1 For nice paint job...you have the hook up or something on a body shop?

in all honesty, i think the 80's paint splatter pinstripe is freakin' sick, but all the pink on top is too much for me. you should look into painting your door handles and getting '03 inserts as well, but in the end it's your ride and you've got huge ovaries trying something this crazy.

LoL Ya Ive never heard of acurazine just kinda found it browsing around how do the acurazine meets work are one time a year and who plans them is there one in TX??

there is a meet in austin each spring and fall that counts as our statewide meet. dallas has a group that gets together pretty often and have an active meet thread in that section. there are also a few folks in houston that got together recently for a small meet.
