That flex pipe is already getting torn up from crap on the road. I have probably another 3-4 months before I'll NEED to change it out.

(go to a local decal shop and they can make one for you .)The thing hanging from the mirror is a Hawaiin warrior head or "Tabookie Ookie" (pronounce 'ta-boo-kee---ook-ee") Also large Hawaiin beads dangle too to keep the head from flailing everywhere when I have the windows down.
It took a lot for me to get this far with the the DEP. And it'll only get better with time.

Tomorrow I'm going to start working on a lame mod that if it works, I'll put a DIY on it with pics...
I might also be putting a computer in it with the touch screen I bought from withoutcomp in where the radio is now. I don't know if I want to do that anymore though...

Nah, I love modding, I just don't really care about my car that much these days...
I do feel like modding because of that same reason though, just because I don't care about it.
That's why I'm going to try this lame mod, just to see if it works.
I have been getting a little discouraged about the car, since there are only so many mods to do. I guess that's what I get for buying a contemporary luxury car...
I'm the type of guy who likes to build my own shit, like maybe a complete different nose or something. Like that post that was about a 3rd Gen TL nose on a CL. I was thinking of doing that this summer, but after reading that thread, I don't want to. Ya know what I mean? It's not different if someone else has it...
Right now, I'm a little low on funds to bother modding.
I do feel like modding because of that same reason though, just because I don't care about it.

Ok, so I was thinking about how the Sport Shift electronics worked and decided to take it apart today... Simple three switch mechanism that the center switch is to engage the SS mode, the top is for up shifting and the back is for down shifting... Simple!
Well, half way through messing with it and my light tester, I threw a CEL!
Not exactly sure why it threw one, but I put it back together and shut down and restarted... Still there. Disconnected ground from battery for a minute and reset, all is fine now...
Here is a pic of the internals to the switch if anyone is wondering.
These AVID V4S tires suck in the snow!!!
Never have I had the ABS kick on and not want to stop before getting these tires!
Oh, and GM#2...
This is how the rotors should be, maybe you would never have gotten those nice new lights and inserts if you had them this way!

It hasn't snowed here for about 2 weeks. So I wouldn't know about the salt.
I think my SS thingy is going out because sometimes the shift light will just go off and the tranny will shift by itself, but if I tap the knob the light will come back.
