Ya it's a fun drive for sure. Roads were wet, so i didn't really get on it, but it definitely puts you in your seat. You get up to speed really quick.

Car has full s/c package including full comptech exhaust (headers back), strut bar, boost and a/f gauges, short shifter, it's lowered, brand new tires, new lower ball joints, new wheel bearings, new HID, just aligned, new battery. Needs a very good clean, but otherwise is really solid. I have a few plans for it come spring.

he said it was at 6psi, but i'm not sure about that. I have to measure the pullies to make sure. I also may scrap the crappy ESM and get a emanage blue and HBP.

Tuning was a huge fat bitch for me, when I was trying to get the AEM FIC (which I have and is for sale) to work. I ended up just having a good mechanic of mine tune the FPR and used a Wideband O2 sensor / exhasut temp gauge to moinitor the car. No problems, works flawlessly and power is readilly available everywhere. When the temp drops to sub 50 degree weather, the car is a BEAST. I walked on an Audi S5 that was sleeping on my car with a passenger and got it on tape.

that's also an option. I want to get a better wideband and hop on the dyno to make sure everything is kosher throughout the powerband. Needs the timing belt service done ASAP. New A pilar , TL rims, and i'm going to get the kit painted properly. If there's leftover, i'm going to get the neuspeed supercup kit. Oh and might order the stiffy mount.

i can pick up an emanage blue for 150 locally, so i may do that, plus its proven to work. Then i'll need the harness, disconnect the ESM and tuning time. Not sure how long it would take on the dyno or cost?? Anyone??

I really need some wider tires. The car has brand new Michelin's on oem rims and the wheel hop is crazy. I got on it a bit today....never felt hop like that before. Ideally i'd like to grab some TL rims and RL calipers.

if im not mistaken NVA can make the harness. dont quote me though. from what ive heard the emanage is pretty simple to tune. i still have the esm installed. when i find time i will finally get my emanage tuned. i def suggest getting the RL calipers now that your boosted. i had one or two close calls when i first went boosted when that blower gets going the stock brakes just arent as dependable anymore.

NVA makes the harness for the fic. Not sure about the emanage.

RJ - Didn't you have Don at RPM make the harness and tune the car?

i'll ask Paul about it, but there's also the boomslang P&P. I really looked at the exhaust yesterday and i think the b-pipe is stock There's a few things i need done first:

1. timing belt service
2. alarm
3. a pilar
4. paint

After that i'll see what i have left to play with. I'm going to spend a day or two cleaning it when it's warm enough. Supposed to get 30cm tonight....super. I think tuning will be about $125/hr. Does that sound right? Can't take more then an hour or two would it?

It can take a few hours to tune a car fully.

I dont know what the going rate is for something running an eManage as none of the tuners in my area would touch it. But dyno tuning an EMS on average is about $450, no matter how long it takes.

Why does it need paint? For the kit?

As far as the b-pipe goes, an unmodded CT b-pipe only has one resonator. Also look at the y-split. The stock is ugly and stamped, the CT pipe is much prettier. It also hangs slightly lower in the rear after the split:

on my car, we had a lot of problems getting it to run right. the boomslang pnp harness came in wrong from factory. it had two wires in switched, throwing the ecu off.
after that it took him about 1-2 hrs to get it running right. it was a flat rate of 500.

The front lip needs a little fixing, and the whole front bumper needs paint in general. I'd also like to relocate the front plate and fix the holes someone drilled right into the bumper!

I know E-blue is not the best, but it works. We'll see, maybe i'll just hop on the dyno first and see how it's doing. I'm quite happy with the power it makes. I'll check that pic out when i get home, thanks civic. Also, is the CT rear sway silver? I think it's there.
