I had the good people at circuit city install it...I'm pretty sure he bonded it with glue, I have had it in since August and have had no problems with it coming loose.

Where did you mount the antenna?

It's mounted on the inside of the car up on the front right corner of the dash

You should trim out thatpart that is partially blocking the buttons with a dremel or something, that would be perfect. Then sand or file down the edges to make them smooth. Don't take the case off the spring mechanism, its a real bitch to get put back together working properlly. Just disconnect the whole housing and do it that way.
