cleared headlights

Wink cleared headlights

Does anyone have cleared headlights with a clear diffuser. I think I saw one on an Agean Blue CLS. shinnyblucls i think it was. can someone post the pics I cant find the thread. Thanx lol

Thanks for the pics bro, I've been searching for the thread for like an hour now. Nice, I like what you've done to your ride. heres a pic of mine, much needed clear headlights.

$75 bucks plus s/h for those diffusers, i said screw it and cleared mine with out.

those headlight are the stock ones or aftermarket one... the black housing seem to be more ""black"" than my oem 03 one....

Isnt that a pain in the ass to clear your headlights, I want to clear mine but think its to much of a pain to do I wonder if any car place would do it

i doubt it.. you have to pry the headlight open. It's not that hard, i did it in 2 hours myself and I put the clear diffuser in, got it off of www.ricks2k.com

yea but dont u have to reseal the headlight? And then u got to worry about water getting in. Can you leave the headlight on the car when u do it and unscrew it to come out a lil to get to the orange piece out

Personally, I think cars look better with orange diffusers but that's my taste. I used to have e-code projectors with white diffusers on my A4 but well, I guess I've changed.

How long does it take to put them in, and is it tough? Dont you have to take off the front bumber? It seems like alot of work.

Subjective to how well you are with your tools around your car.

No, it's not tough.

I'd recommend you take off your front bumper.

If it seems like a lot of work... don't do it?





Cleared headlights don't take that long in my opinion, but if you're never wrenched anything on a car before, I don't recommend you clearing out your headlights as your first project. It could get a bit messy.
