it can be done!!!!!....but the only draw back is that u might need to roll the fenders depending on if u have lowering springs or not...and you can have passengers in the back seat anymore..or its gonna rub~

I have 19's, and before lowering no problem.. but after I just lowered 1.25" in the back, rubbed like crazy!! I had to stiff up my suspension, AND roll the rear fenders to reduce the rubbing..

But if I have a full car, I still rub..

Price I pay to make the car look good..

If you check your rear fenders, you'll see that it sticks in about 1 inch at one part, then the rest is about 1/2 of an inch..

It is hard to roll with a bat, because that shit is pretty thick, so you might risk bending your fender on the outside with it.. So my bodyshop friends had to take those soft hammers, and hit it repeatly with a piece of cloth covering it...

It didn't bent anything on the outside, but it did crack the inside paint.. So now I'm just driving it around to see how bad it is still, so I can decide if I want to bend it even more, before they put the paint back on for me.

But as far as being bad or not, the body shop told me that it dosen't really do anything special.. so if you roll it, it wont hurt anything. Hope this helps!

Good luck!

another question

just to double check...if i put the 20z on...i wont have to do nething aside from rolling the fenders. Also i wont be able to put any one in the back then correct?
If i were to put 19z on and not lower my car would there be any problem of rubbing if people sat in the back at that point?
thanks

So is it bad to lower the car once you put 19's on it ??? because that is what I'm aiming for.

If you aren't going to lower your car, do not get 19s. It'll look too damn weird. I have 19s with Comptech springs and wish I had it lower. You can slam the car with 19s as long your wheels have the correct offset and most likely have to be 8" wide max.

Yeah, if you wonder about how 19's with no lowering would look like, just check my pics.. I got my car lowered within the week.

Before I got the Teins, I felt like I was driving a SUV..

I have 19x8 rims, +50 offset, never rolled my fenders, dropped just under 3 inches all around and have NEVER rubbed once, even with 3 adults in the car(haven't had 4 adults in the car since). If you get the right size rims with the correct offset, you shouldn't have any problems. A good stiff suspension has helped a lot.
