so i'm guessing the r emblem stands for "racing", o and it glows in the dark too....i'm not bashing but i think it is a little overdone. just do what i did, throw a b18c1 in there with a jrsc and a fully built motor and then build your car around it, asthetics are last and performance is first

 

trust me bro i had a civic, unless u put a gsr in there it aint ever gonna be shit. get a nice kit like the big mouth front with wings west side skirts and rear. the car looks like a fish right now. im not talking shit bro just voicing my opinion.
i had a civic so i know! get you a better kit, more of a drop, and a 1.8vtec with an si tranny and you'll kick serious ass. dont waste money on the 1.6. even with the supercharger i whipped the shit outta all of them.

To each his own! My only thing is that you said that you didnt have enough money to get the b18c or c5 that you want. Well if you add up all the money youve put into your car: kit & paint, lights, and more you would have been a lot closer.
Not all vtech engines say vtech on the valuve cover! Some people accually take it off.

Looks like you had one of those stupid spoilers? Other than that, you Civic looks nice. Did you have engine mods as well? I think that a lot of people are finding fault with the "all show no go" mentality a lot of the people that add tons of plastic to their Civic. They try to look fast when they don't have enough hp to get out of anyones way. Plus...you didn't come in with the "you have to like my Civic now" attitude that the red civic kid did.

 

well, i have a question tho.... Why do a guy with a Civic EX, sign-up to the CL site (which is no problem and totally welcome), but to showoff and bragg about the Civic EX????? Not even a Si... I mean which is cool.... But i am sure we see that Civic, or similiar pretty much look the same, almost everyday did a rice fly by.... what's soo special???? Dude, with the Red Civic, check out others before you come in and bragg.... BTW, you need bigger rims! and that exhaust gtg... cuz you never see real car with that exhaust!

 

hey blackmagiCL_S i had engine mod with was JDM b16 and all bolt-on products. but that b16 is no match with TL. but i still miss my fun loving toy.

 

that guy wasted alot of money both trying to make it look nice and trying to make it fast. As everyone can see, he failed at both.

 

Civics are probably fun to mod. I have no problem with them...it is the dummies that expect everyone to love them that make me laugh when people don't agree with their idea of what looks good...

You need an engine to back up the look tho'...that is why I asked TStenicks if he had done engine work...

 

Buy a LS Integra block from some junkyard (few hundred bucks), then buy a GSR or SI head somewhere (my friend got his gsr head for 600) and put them together with a few mods an experienced honda guy could do (oil lines, etc.) Now for what your going pay for some SC youve got a strong motor that pulls hard. Just a thought....

 

if you run an ls-vtec, you always always turbocharge it, the low compression makes that motor very turbo friendly

isn't ls-vtech not good if your daily driver? i had no problem with my b16 and i give my word to all civic drivers to get motor swap.

 

One of my best friends has had his ls-vtec for over 3 years now. He drives 300 miles to school and uses it as his daily driver. However, many of these conversions, if not done to near perfection have bad oil leaks. A lot depends on the experience of the person who builds the motor...

Also, i wasnt saying for this guy to build the motor then get a SC, i was saying for the same price or less he could build an ls-vtec. Not sure if i was clear on that..but it also sounds like he doesnt have the know-how to maintain that motor anyways...so maybe he should stick with an EX motor and be all Fast and Furious so we can laugh when he goes weedwhackin by us....
