Thumbs up Bored On a Saturday... Random Pics, Few New Mods (9 pics)

I can't decide if I should throw on some cheap 18's or just do XS headers and my timing belt and water pump maintenance. I'm not quite yet due for my maintenance mileage wise - and I am thinking about throwing on some 18" wheels such as:

or

or

I would toss out the centercaps and put in custom Acura centercaps so they don't look as bad. Living around here I honestly can't get nice wheels because the roads are just horrible. Nothing but construction all the time and I've bought expensive wheels in the past and always had to replace cracked wheels, etc.

Thanks bro, I've gotten a ton of positive feedback about them. I think I might end up staying with them and just ordering that double din kit, and some XS headers and UR pulleys.

Si wheels look bigger than 17's...keep em and slam it, fix the dash kit, and what you said above...

I thought about those wheels before and would have experimented had they not had the universal bolt pattern. There was a new set on ebay for about $300. They actually look decent, but if the roads are as bad as you say, you will bend them...which is why I would keep what you have.

I was really close to buying SI wheels myself...and your car looks hawt with them while being lowered.

The roadlamps, personaly look fugly on our cars. Toss em and get garnishes FTW.

A lil work on the dash and your car will compliment you .

Hah, those are the '03 tail lights, just smoked the top half. And the roadlamps I actually just recently got, and absolutely LOVE they look. I'm not sure why so many guys don't like them with the 6-LED amber bulbs in them I get nothing but compliments at night on how much they contrast with the HID's. Maybe I should get some night pictures up. But I'm definitely going to do the dash kit no questions asked!

I can't decide if I should bother with coilovers or not. Honestly the way that I look at it it's almost $1K for another 1/2" or so lower. Per dollar, seems like a really stupid mod. My car is already dropped about 2" all around on Tein S-Tech springs. I think my money would be much better spent on XS headers, and then the S/C.

Looks good, time for an M5 lip spoiler, new dash kit (which you are already well aware of), and headers and you'll be good to go!

I prefer wingless, by far, and definitely ordering the dash kit and headers next.

In terms of suspension I just can't justify spending $1K to go another 1/2" or so lower. If I was going to do anything to the suspension at all it would be sway bars and/or shocks. But as of now the stock shocks are holding up just fine, knock on wood.

from oem si's to fake ssr's or fake advans? mmm no. yeah forreal the si's almost look like 18's. its because they have that nice offset. but yeah the first thing i noticed was that din kit. forget the 18's man, go fast.

the more I see those Si wheels, the more I like them. Your exhaust looks like an M5 or M6

mm...but I have to say I dont much care for the chrome piece on the lower section of the bumper, starting to look too bling bling.

Thanks for the feedback, guys. It says "Acura Navigation" because it's just a background that I went ahead and uploaded, nice little feature on the Pioneer AVIC-D3, and especially with the rear camera, everyone thinks it's an OEM unit.

Lol, that's the truth, I can't stand how it looks. I placed an order for one from one of our vendors so I can't wait to get some updated pictures up.

I'm thinking after getting the XS headers and timing belt / water pump, I'll probably do coilovers to slam it and then throw on the Comptech S/C.
