Black Grille, Clear Headlight: How to? Where? $$
Hey guys, ive been searchin a lot on this board recently for the black grilles, ive seen a lot more guys are doin it, but i saw on one post i think it was ST2000's post, it looked like he had pics of the grill unassembled and was already made to fit the CL. I was curious if anyone knew of a site, or store that sold a premade black grille already fitted to our cars, or if all these grilles i have been seeing are custom made. I have a 2001 CL, nighthawk black, and i think the black grill wouldd stand out really nice on it. Also curious about if they make a set of clear headlights housing yet, or if everyone is also just doing that themselves, and if so, how is it done and is it difficult. Thanks in advance guys. MATT

Hey Matt welcome
I have the same grill as ST2000. He ordered the grill from grilltech and had them cut by a body shop to fit the car. As for the headlights, you have to have them cracked open and take out the orange diffuser. Alot of people do it themselves. Personally, I paid a shop to do mine.

I see ... Well im kinda lucky because my cousin owns a body shop, a really good one actually and he does lots of custom paint/body work, which is great for me, cuz i get a sick hook up. I guess im gonna order the diamond cut grill sheet and just take it to him, ill have him put that in the upper grill, lower grill, and where the driving lamps are, and tell him to take my headlights out n clear them for me. Thanks for the info!
