Okay don't go by these pictures alone, but in your opinion which end did Acura do a better job at designing?

i dont think there is much styling to the back anyways...thats why i like it, clean and simple
But I like the way the front slopes and sits...especially when slammed, +1 front

 

front looks better outa those two pics....but IMO the rear is really classy on the CL.. if it was any different the car wouldnt look as smooth IMO.

the front only looks good to me when its less than 4 inches from the ground

also debadged of the ACURA is a must to me....makes the rear look so much wider. i recently have taken off the 3.2CLS leaving just the "A"

I am a fan of lines and the front end offers much better lines IMO.

 

I think they did a good job overall, but better on the back end.

 

to mee the front of our car resembles too much like an MDX...

I think that they did both ends equally well...

I've always said that the CL styling (and acuras in general) is bland...

I mean that in a good way. The styling is simple, classy, and doesn't have that "look at me" quality that some cars have. The CL styling should age well, like some of acuras other older acura models (like the legend).

If I'd had to vote, I'd say the rear... even tho' I've got the oem spoiler on my car, I think that on some color CL's the rear looks better w/o a spoiler...

It would have been interesting to see what acura would have done w/ a 3G CL... I think the front would have been better w/ the styling cues used on the 3G TL and the TSX... I like the front ends on those cars, but I don't necessarily like the rears that much...

 

they both work off of eachother which makes it so good....but if I hadda vote, I'd choose t3h rear

I like a clean ass with not a lot of markings on it. The kind that is nice, smooth and shapely but not too large. I am talking about cars of course...

Debadged is good. That's how I do it. I like how the CLS exhaust is unique from the plain old pipes protruding from the 2GTL, nicely integrated into the bumper more. The tail shape is similar to a MB CL coupe, almost the same angle of tail lights. The 03 front looks good and bad at the same time. Body color headlight housing looks much better than the tarnishing chrome/aluminum on mine. I like the chrome/aluminum grill but it seems H/A couldn't decide on if/how much metal to give our car. Looks like there is something missing without the lower lamps. I vote back! I think the CL is one of those cars that can look much better or much worse simply based on the color.

 

I vote for the back. The way the front bumper comes to a point took some getting used to for me. I like it now, but I used to feel that it would have looked better if it was a little more rounded or if it didn't have that point at all. The rear is nice and round, and the front having that sharp line just didn't seem like it flowed.
