Automatic Car Wash, Dents, Scratches, and Fun! 56k Friendly!

boring...

to all the nay sayers that are against automatic car washes, my car hasn't been hand waxed in over a year, i did it for the first time today a bit hastily because it was hot, i didn't compound or anything, just some meguiars NXT...

do you have 2 pieces of metal in the rear?

ballin with the BBS yo...

please take care when removing your rotora calipers, the paint is crap...

no longer in production =[

gee, darn automatic car washes really ruining my paint, i can only see my ram parked down the street...

these darn things always get in the way...

stupid dog...

ew, woodgrain...

what looks different here?

i like the corners of our car for some reason

borlas on an import?

a bunch of fun stuff was out, saw some db9s, 355, 430, 599, bentley gt, and this dude...

Yeah well all it takes is 1 bad car wash mishap & your done going through them with good cars. Guess it hasn't happened to you yet.

My Cl never gets a auto wash. I have nightmares of scratched rims, & messed up bumpers & mud flaps cause the car is to low to the rails.

My Explorer gets the auto wash though cause it's a PITA to clean, & is so big I don;t have to worry about damage.

Your car looks good though

Wow, you must have been REALLY bored.

Not that I'm complaining. I love seeing your car.

Nice paint, too. Although, yours looks more like jet black than NBP.

camera - canon rebel xti

all mine - thanks dude. i was bored, but i had also just waxed the car, so i wanted to get some pictures before pollen screwed it up in 6 hours. i took those pictures on the shaded side of the car, if i went to the sunny side it would look more blue. i don't get much free time anymore with work, so with the 3 day weekend i get to play a little.

Damn you're more bored than I am... nice pictures though. I've always loved the sound of Borlas, but I'm thinking an extra 3 liters probably makes them sound even nicer!

I love my Power Shot A620. Canon FTW!

Dude, there are ALOT of imperfections on my car and keep in mind that when people post pics, it's easy to omit details you don't want shown...my car's paint looks amazing for a 7 year old car, and I get a lot of compliments on it. However, there are many small oxidized areas and chips....I guess my eye is just that much more critical

If I were you, I'd clay/polish (2-3 stages with buffer)/wax and you will thank me when you're done...you can truly restore an old paintjob with some hard work.

agreed...my car looks awesome from certain angles (See avatar), but then i don't do closeups on the dings (bastards!) and hood rock chips. Paint unfortunately gets the short end after 7 years.
