To be 100% honest, I thought about it all day one day and had that picture of them on the white CL that "Distortedoldskool" sent me. . .and well, after looking at it for 24hrs, I realized I wanted a solid 5 spoke wheel. And being that my absolute favorite wheels (Moda R6's) were discontinued I looked up some more solid 5-spoke wheels and found the Advan's in the new issue of ImportTuner and absolutely loved them. Theyre almost like the stock RSX-S wheels I had (which I completely regret selling) but bigger and obviously nicerr!! So there ya have it, lol I changed my mind Yet Again!! Hopefully I don't see another set. . .=P

I didn't even know a 5-spoke wheel that beautiful even existed!!! lol Maybe that's takin it a little too far, but. . .haha On my flight back from FL last night I bought the new issue of ImportTuner and there's this unbelievable Yellow NSX in there with like 430HP to the wheels and it's all decked outt and I loved the wheels so I kept reading to find out that they were the Advan Kreuzer V's. The minute I got home I googled them and well now, I'm just waiting to see how they're gunna look on my baby!!! =)

IMO 5spokes are really nice, but when they are really thin like that it looks a bit strange cause of how big our cars are. i think it would look better on a 1st gen or an integra for that matter.

see what you can find that has thicker spokes...it might change your mind.

what about some ssr Sp1's in some aggressive offset/width with a mild stretch tire?

i always thought that style wheel would look nice on the CL.

Too thick for my taste. If you know any rims that look like the R6's or Kreuzers let me know. I'm more into that style of 5-spoke. Even the RJ servo's are nice, but too pointy at the edges for me. Maybe I could convince Ron to re-make the servos!!!

I'm a certified wheel whore, but I'm also waiting for someone on this forum to surprise me with some JDM bling on their wheels... I'm so tired of seeing the same wheels on everyone's cars over and over again.

If you're looking for something 5-spoke there's hundreds of possibilities. Here's a few of my top favorites that I'd love to see on our cars:

Superstar Leon Hardiritt Orden
Work Equips
Weds Kranze LXZ
Advan AVS Model 5
Work Termist S1C
Seiben NKB Cup
Work VS-KF
Koenig Seder

Thanks for the suggestions, I do like the Weds Kranze LXZ's, I really prefer a solid 5-spoke rather than a split. I dont know, I might just go with the Kreuzers and if worse comes to worse and I hate them (even after the drop) I'll sell em'. . . . .I'm sure they'll go fastttttt

Don't get me wrong, I still LOVE the GT-V's, but after really thinking about it for a while and looking at the picture over and over again, I just knew they werent right. Hopefully maybe one day I'll make it big, and I'll be able to buy 5 or 6 sets of rims (prefferably volks) and I could save myself the headache of making this decision!!!

What do you guys think about using Bilstein shocks with some H&R Springs as my suspension setup. . .? I plan on going 18x8 +45mm offset on the Kreuzers, and I want the drop to be subtle enough so I don't run into any rubbing/camber issues, yet still lowers the car a fairly decent amount to get rid of that horrible 4x4 look. . . Any suggestions??

Bilstein Sports are nice. Only other comparable strut would be Koni's of course. As far as a mild drop, I have Tein H Techs and personally love the drop and it feels very close to stock, which is what I was looking for.

As far as wheels, have you considered the Gram Lights T57-RC? I'm actually contemplating getting some in Gunmetal (18x7.5 +48).

I actually did consider those a while back. . .They're nice as hell and would deff. look greatt on our cars. Anyway, back to the suspension. I too want a ride that is as close to stock as possible. I don't ever plan on slamming my car, so coilovers are pointless, but I do however need to be able to drive in the harsh winters we get here in NJ!!!(Every once in a while that is) Does anyone on here have pics of what Bilstein H&R setup looks like??

Scroll down to the last pic in NiteQwill's first post: https://acurazine.com/forums/showthread.php?t=168436

Perfect drop IMO if you're looking to get rid of the 4x4 stance yet still maintain close to OEM ride quality.

wow that looks greatt!! Exactly how I wanna go. . .And with 18''s. . .I could only Imagine how greatt it's going to look. The H&R's are the 51858's right? And as far as the Bilsteins go, I was considering on going with the HD (Heavy Duty) rather that the "Sport" shocks being that they're the more aggressive of the two. Will that change ride quality for better or for worse??

Bilstein Sports are more aggressively valved (stiffer), the HD's are more for everyday use. I think the p/n for the H&R's is 50103, the p/n you mentioned is the older one with the uneven drop (someone correct me if I'm wrong).

I remember now...

PART#: 50103
MAKE/MODEL: Acura TL - V6
YEARS: 2002-2003
DROP (F/R): 1.75 / 1.5

PART#: 51858
MAKE/MODEL: Acura TL - V6
YEARS: 1999-2001
DROP (F/R): 1.75 / 1.5

51858 was designed for the 98-02 Accord and 99-01 TL. Apparently the 02-03 TL weighed more for some reason which resulted in an uneven drop for some folks. The 50103 was designed to compensate for that. Not sure how that would effect the CL.

Should I run a 235/40/18 tire or go with what tirerack says(225/45/18 ). . .?? Also which tires should I go with BF Goodrich T/A KDW II's or Falken Azenis ST115. . . . .

Thanks!!~

What about the FK 452's. . .they seem even more aggressive and have slightly higher ratings, but I'm not sure what makes them so different. I think the ST 115's are quieter or something.

Here is a pic of my car with H&R 51858 Front and 51858.55 Rear. These were the older set to fic the sag problems in the accord. they later changed the part# to 50103.

Good Looks Man. . . .And they wont have the "rake" effect right? They re-designed them to make it an even drop correct?
