'03 cl vs new m3??

i am a newbie here with a 2003 cl, right now my car is lowered on rims with system but i just bought ct supercharger kit ct headers, ct sway and strut bars, and a greddy exhaust, will post pics when i get these parts on, after all these mods will i be runnin high 12's, my cousin has a 2002 m3 will i be able to beat him all he has is an exhaust, also i have an aem intake should i replace it with the icebox from ct when i put on the supercharger

i recommend you replace the aem with ct's cai. much has been said about aem's unreliability.
Also, you should probably think twice if you think you'll beat the m3. Maybe, it'll certainly be a good race

is your car auto or stick?


either way you will need an intercooler, e-manage and high boost pulleys to run in the 12's. you should be able to give the m3 a run with just the intake, headers and s/c.

this kind of post belongs in car talk by the way.

Berny, since when has AEM's cai been unreliable? Do you have some info on this, i'm curious.

Now that’s the way to mod a CL.

As far as the E46 M3 goes its still gonna be tough to beat a competent driver in one. After the race however when he hears you weren’t spraying, he'll be surprised how well you kept up.

a lil off topic.


Back ON topic, it will take ALOT to beat a new M3. 333hp stock, and a TOTALLY different tq curve....
