touch up paint

Dont ever use acuras touch up paint, at least if you have a red one. I had to get some for mine , and put it on in a small test area and it looks like crap , way the hell off. I am goint to take it back and bitch , but assume little will be done.
I mean it is more pink than red . oh well. Guess I will need to get it painted after all, eventually.

Are you sure you didn't loose the primer where you are doing the touch up. Some of the touch up paints I've used in the past, look "light" if put on a scratch were the primer has been removed!

The white one looks fine. Just shake it real well and apply several layers using a toothpick. Then get rid of the blob by using Langka

All my chips and scratches are gone now. and you can't even tell if your a couple feet away. If your going to use touch up paint Langka is a must.!

Yes that LANGKA works.
I got me some two weeks ago and now its much easier to use the touchup since you don't have to worry about putting to much on. Still be prudent, use a toothpick or such and lay on Langka.

Oh yea the white paint from Acura is perfect. Shaken well, not stirred.

I'm think I'm going to retire my wet sandpaper and sanding blocks -- the stuff looks cool

So you all think langka is good?
This topic was brought up in the old h-a.net days. I remember quite a few ppl complaining at it, saying it's very difficult to just take right amount of the extra touchup pain off.
Satin Silver isn't too bad, after it's dry.
