My tire was inside the fender, the wall of the tire was about less than a 1 mm from the inside of the fender. Couldn't fit a credit card between the tire and fender. Note: Some people are running 18 x {8} with a 45+ offset with no rub on 225/40/18 w/ drop. How are you guys getting away with no rub? For those who are uncertain of wheel offset i recommend not going with anything smaller than +47 on my setup (above) if you do not want to have your tires rub.

When I had 235-45/17 Toyo Proces T1-S they rubbed in two places on the upper-inner portion of both front wheel wells during full lock turns over slightly irregular pavement. Rubbing was minor (no visible damage to tires after 3100 miles) but sounded terrible.

Mike, it probably would help people to know (as you and I know) that Technique and others have tried the same setup (minus the Konis) and had no rubbing.

In addition, there is Water Rabbit with:
