Its cool. This is the auto setup:
6MT setup:
The thing thats sticking out past the engine cover on the auto is the VSA, its right in front of the throttle body.

oh yea one me thing. can a new stock clutch hold that power of a 3.5 with power adders? lol sorry for if im annoying i just want to make sure it all will come together nicely

You can use TL S motor but you have to swap the cam and gear sensor and gear from manual head. Or just simply reuse manual heads. But thats all. You can reuse block it has iron sleeves and pistons but i would go with RL ones. All you really need to build spare motor is heads bottom from odyssey or mdx on the first page you have all the info you need. If you want save money you should reuse CL pistons but the have different compression than rl ones iirc that makes you able to run regular gas if you want.

No, I missed that post.
No matter what you need to run premium or you may get some detonation.
The CL pistons lower compression to 10.5:1 IIRC while the RL pistons keep it at 11:1.
As far as the clutch goes, what sort of power adders?

This is going to be the setup.........
j32a2 with mdx crank, rods and rl pistons. j32a2 heads ported and polished. ported and polished intake manifold. throttle body.comptech headers. comptech airbox, p2r tb spacer, unorthadox pulleys, aem fpr and fuel rails,.... If i need to get a clutch idk what to gettttt I got one brand new from honda but i hope itll be enuff... would you recomend any other upgrades?

For that build the stock clutch would be fine. Worst case scenario you can always run the P2R disk.
#90
p2r disk it is. WHat Greddy emanage should i run on my car. I want the most potential power out of my na build. the motor is almost ready to drop into the car. the emange blue or the emanage ultimate? Im an idiot becuase i had anultimate around the house and i sold it like a moron becuase i had no use for it

Hes not boosted. On the stroked motor the stock ECU pulls timing to begin with. To make more power it needs to advance it. The eManage controls fuel/air.
The only thing that has full control over the motor is the AEM EMS.

My AFRs are holding steady to redline with just an FPR cranked to about 55psi:
I just wish the car would stop pulling timing.

Lol, np.
Alot of the Accords need to use a F/IC after an engine build because the stock injectors are 270cc IIRC. Ours flow more so we dont max out the injectors on relatively mild builds as easily as them.

damn. thats crazy the stock ecu contols like that. so no type of piggy back will give me more power? thanks for all the help civic driver.. so how mch power will i make around?

The power numbers all depend on how good the PnP is. It makes the difference between a 250whp 3.5 and a 270whp 3.5.
That graph was with my stock exhaust and, we found out afterwards, a clogged cat. Im trying to hit the dyno on Tuesday to see what the breathing mods did.

wow those are nice numbers... of course im looking to get the most so i ported as much as i could without going through the walls. I have stock exaust myself with comptech mufflers. maybe i should get a race cat or somthing. Im trying to break 12 in the quarter

Keep in mind that my motor is a 3.6l, so a 3.5 will make slightly less power. Not much though.
And good luck getting into the 12s without any power adders. This is going into a CL right?

im just gunna order the aem stand alone tonight. i think i can get at least close the 12s with a good tune.. yea its goin in my cl. or mayb i can run a zex smart kit 50 shot lol
#107
yea i ran 2 times 14.3 and 14.2. i only got a comptech icebox on my motor now thats the only mod i have on my motor thats in the car thats why i figured i can get into the 12s but i guess it takes alot to get these cars running strong. but mine is anthricite or how ever u spell it lol. but its up 2 u il meet wenever bro

With a good driver and the 3.5 you might run a 13.7. If you know where you can get 8/10s of a second out of a tune please let me know.

These cars are heavy and front wheel drive.
A bump of ~40whp and ~50wtq isn't going to get the car into the 12s. You need ~400whp to do that, and launching aint easy.

Its the worst type.

its crazy because i had a k series integra with a full system, full interior. the car was heavy as shit nd i ran 11.6 on a semi built k24. i guess i got caught up in that worlddd lol

also i almost seem to run more consistent with even a 55 shot, because it took more of the heat soak factor out of the equation

a 100 shot will get you very close to that ~400 range (and personally these motors seem to like to take a liking to the cooling effect of nitrous {part of why i think your's is very consistent with the timing and what not, and sometimes making great power and other times not so much

I dont really know if its a heat soak issue causing my engine to pull timing. Sure, it does feel down on performance in the summer, but it is inconsistent in the dead of winter as well.
Oddly enough, I switched to the short ram setup on my intake and the engine is running much better. Odd.
