Smitty's Dyno day
Temp: 72 degrees
Humidity 51%
Mustang Dynamometer:
1. Could not find a good ground
2. ABS light came on
3. They claim with the ABS on the rev limiter is decreased.
base Intercooler/e-manage map.
Dump was opened up on the 2nd pull.

2nd pull with the dump open was my best pull..
I do believe their was a 10-12% co-factor..
325Max HP at 6400 RPM ... should be 7100 RPM
278 torque
So all in all, with the co-factors the car is sitting at 350+ WHP right now...
In all honesty.. I did not get a fair/clean reading... I will go back after I take the grounding kit off and pull the ABS fuse when I get there... maybe next weekend. but I want to tune the e-manage first.

I thought mustang dynos were usually 10% under?
Is the chart already corrected?
Still pretty impressive none the less. I'm sure with a little colder weather, and no problems you could come close to 370.

Nice numbers... I can't see the dyno charts, but what was the difference between routing exhaust through the mufflers vs. the cutout?
What boost were these pulls? Also what were your AFR throughout the pull?

I have read that Mustang Dynos suck, not that I know anything about them, but thats just what I read.
Did Scalbert ever dyno ? I want to say yes, but not certain.
If not, would have been a good "reference" point for those with the CT SC/ Hope system IC. I know the difference in his would have been the P&P TB.
The Humidity did suck on your run though. I would have expected >350 with your setup also with the SSR's.
Didn't have any detonation right ?

It all depends on the calibration. 10% under what? A dynojet? Maybe. These numbers really aren't valid due to all the problems that came up during the dyno.
325 is what I would expect to see a non-IC'ed S/C'ed 6MT CL-S put down with just the Comptech HBP.

On his first pull (mufflers) he put down 303. With the cutout open he made 325. However, with all the other issues he was having (6800 rpm rev limiter, etc) take those numbers with a grain of salt.
Boost should be 8-9psi and he said AFR was at 11.2 @ peak HP. So he's still got plenty of room to lean things out a bit,

Scalbert did dyno, made 373 I believe.

Nice pulls, although I agree with you and expected to see in the 370whp range for your setup. I did a Mustang dyno pull about 9 months ago and it read 240whp max. This last Saturday's pull showed 283 on a dynojet.
I've never heard that the ABS lowers the rev limiter??

I've heard of the ABS sensor coming on (not in our cars though) but I haven't heard of it lowering the rev limiter.
The temperature and humidity are fine for a dyno day. It was 80+ degrees with 60+% humidity when I made 295whp.

We tired that. There isn't a DynoJet in the Pittsburgh Area. Just Mustang Dynos.

So it stayed constant at 11.2 throughout the pull? If so you've got plenty of room to trim some fuel and pick up more power.

it starts at 14.7 at idle.... it jumps as you shift and goes lean then rich.... 14-13-12 would be rich... 15's would be Lean...
the lowest number I seen while on the dyno was 11.2 rich at the upper RPM but i never got to 7200 RPM while on the POS dyno.
I do have room to trim fuel, but how?.. ignition timing.. I already lowered the Fuel pressure to 25 psi at idle.
