And he was at 105k in September of 2002... who knows if this guy is even around anymore. This thread is older than dirt.

Make sure he isn't laughing...there is nothing on the dyno sheet that says CL (it could be any car). Honesty? Sure...but there haven't been any subsequent posts and that power out of 4 cyl would last a month...????

So what were your times?

My h22 block is currently being re-built with forged pistons and rods including sleeves done by AEBS. The head will have a Ferrea valvetrain kit including valves; springs; and retainers. I expect to see at least 400 whp @ 20 psi. I also have a direct port nitrous kit so I can stay on top of the game, and show you non-believers what a 2.2 can do.

Hey, really smart guy, can you please prove this to me? Considering there's less oxygen at high altitude (where we are) and every engine (except turbos according to you) here in CO suffers from it power wise, how, I ask, how can a turbo'd engine not be effected at all? It needs oxygen too. Please explain this...

N/M... I researched it myself and this is what I found...
" The high-altitude performance of a turbocharged engine is significantly better. Because of the lower air pressure at high altitudes, the power loss of a naturally aspirated engine is considerable. In contrast, the performance of the turbine improves at altitude as a result of the greater pressure difference between the virtually constant pressure upstream of the turbine and the lower ambient pressure at outlet. The lower air density at the compressor inlet is largely equalized. Hence, the engine has barely any power loss."
Not knowing this does not indicate I am a "dummy". All you had to say was "altitude doesn't effect a turbo like it does n/a engines". No need to be a chump about it.

I appreciate that.
On that note, I'd love to see a 400hp CL!
