Z28...cop????
Well we were on side of each other in a little traffic on a 2 lane street. Speed limit was like 20 or 25 so I wasn't going to race and besides it was a Z28 so I didn't think it I could beat him. So I gave it a little gas to get through the traffic and get in front of him and he decided to do the same. So anyway we get to a stop sign and I am like f&$k it lets see how bad it will be so off with the VSA and in to SS I go. The guy roles down the window and says, so you got a fast one there. I was like "it's not to bad" and then I ask if its an auto or manual. He said its an auto. So I think why not and then I ask him if he wants to engage in a friendly race. Well he said sure but there is only one problem....then the dude pulls out his shirt with his badge and say this is my cop car so I cant race!!! I am like WTF sorry about that. He told me he gets it all the time and drove off. Crap that would have sucked if I would have just took off with out talking to him!

Here in New Rochelle (Westchester), NY we have a Camaro, but it's marked. That's weird that it was unmarked! I've seen Taxi's, Explorer's, Camry's and other unmarked vehicle's in NYC that I was suprised to see pulling people over! It's just there attempt to cut down on aggressive drivers.

SC Troopers drive both marked Z28 chase cars (no exterior light bars though) and unmarked (probably seized/impounded vehicles). Also, since they built the factory here, the boyz from Munich have given the State a couple of 540i's and 2 M5's I believe

u r mucho lucky dude, i hear they go out and get people to race and then ticket yo ass.
on l.i., they have marked z 28's. they are so f in hard to see in the rear view. even their lite bars are lo profile.

is it true that the z28 highway patrol is equipped with corvette engines, built tranny and a couple tanks of nos? (to catch up with the hennessey vipers, lamborghini's, supra tt's, etc.)
