Your thoughts on flushmount mounting...

I am not a "HUGE" fan of the CL's OEM trunk spoiler. Reason being is due to the LED strip. If 1 or more bulbs goes out, thing just looks nasty if not fully lit up.

PLUS, I have always been one to be different in appearance (at least) on my cars.

With that being said, have this Import flushmount spoiler in my garage for a while and decided to possibly mount onto one of my 2G CL cars.

Fitment is PERFECT! ON either end, there is no over-hang and is just freakin perfect. Even by the "A" symbol and the spoiler's indentation fits perfect. So says the Eye. Does the Eye ever lie??

If done, will either have it moulded into the trunk's curve or shave off/clip off the 4 mounting posted and either double side tape/epoxy it onto trunk's curve.

Just getting fellow AZ'ners opinions, even tho I will do what's best. Sorry for all the other crap surrounding the topic of discussion.

Therefore, let the opinions/critic voices be heard!

It looks like a good fit but I'm not a big fan of the look of it. I guess I really like the OEM spoiler.

Looks good but it still needs to be molded on the truck, still lots of space left.

I don't like the look of burnt out LEDs either so I just plugged the stock 3rd brake light in. The LEDs are replacable if they ever burn out anyways.

The Sarona lip spoiler looks like it would be what you are looking for, and its a direct fit.

As flush to curve as can be, simulated of course...

A fingernail off on each corner side.

AND some pics in daylight.

cant really tell how well it compliments (or not) the car.

Will do so, by weekend. That CL is being parted out. But will mount on backup CL for photoshoot.

Looks like it could fit good. Always is the sarona option also. I wonder how a mugen tl lip like this one would fit on the cl.
