My 1997 3.0 CL was actually my first nice car, if it weren't for the auto tragic I would still have the old girl.

I guess it depends on what you would classify as "nice."

I've had lots of nice cars but they were all "nice" in different ways.

I had a 4th Gen Prelude with an H22 and 5-Speed transmission from the factory which was nice, but I made some dumb decisions totaled it, now it's resting in my driveway while I put it back together and I have car payments.

So...the Prelude was nice, however, the CL is definitely a different class because of the luxury items though. Plus six gears is fun.

Technically, yes. '00 Si would have been the only other "newish" car.

Depends. 88 Civic Hatch (FS now in the BM), 90 Civic Hatch, 94 Prelude VTEC, and then the CL.

Its certainly got the most luxury, but I wouldnt call it the nicest.

I had a 92 prelude and 95 prelude both h22 5spds. I liked them but my cl is just as fast and is luxurious. plus has more easy potential.

96 Lumina ===> 96 Accord Sedan ===> 96 Accord Coupe ===> 2003 CL.

It has been a constant progression in niceness but the CL definitely takes the cake... assuming that "nice" here is referring to luxury. There is no way the CL handles as good as the old coupe did (and still does since my brother bought it!). Though, im sure with a set of illuminas and ground controls, some nice sways, some stiffening and some dieting... the CL would handle just as good as the accord did. I spent way too much money on that accord... much of it in ways that I now regret.

Pretty much, the nicest all around car Ive owned. 90 Integra all Customed out, 92 Si Hatch, 95 civic hatch cx with swap, 91 integra started on RHD swap had to sell, 94 integra, 96 integra, 88 supra targa turbo (stolen) and an 89 240sx. This car is the best but having a car note really hurts me Im used to dumping my money on my cars..now its paying for it =(

Got my licence in 98 and my first car was a 89 caddy sevile that i killed!
It was my moms car so I thought if i killed it they buy a nice new car and I get to drive that, iWAS RIGHT THEY BOUGHT A 99 rx300 BUT i WAS WRONG CUZ THEY WOULD NOT LET ME Touch it! so in March 2000 i was one of the first to pick up the CL type-s from Wayne acura (now open road acura)

first car: 95 accord -> nice? was nice to me, cause I bought it w/ my sweat money and did all the work myself.

second car: current -> nice? yeah, paid for it all on my own too, which makes it even better.

First car was an 89' Volvo 740, then went to a 93' Cadillac Seville and recently just sold my 98 4dr gsr with type r swap. I thought my Caddy and Integra were very nice cars. But they were nothing compared to Navi, heated seats, 6-speed and all the other great options my CLS has!! Plus my CLS has less than half the miles all my previous cars had.

Coming from a 1999 Toyota Camry LE , the CL is my 2nd car and I'm loving every moment. This also the first I began modding, and it has been a great experience, aside from the tranny failure, the car has been very reliable and gotta love vtec!
