Your Car Before You Got the CL
Just saw a post over in the 2G TL sub-forum that was entitled, "your previous car before the TL." So I thought I would start the same thing here hoping the same thing will catch on here. They have a pretty good thread going...well here goes nothin'...
My '92 Sentra 5 speed...what a beast

I always wanted one of those sweet '02/'03 TL-Ss. I am constantly looking for one that has a bad trans 1) because it'll be pretty darn cheap(friend of mine sold his for a freakin' GRAND, but he didn't know that I wanted one and 2) so I can drop in a updated TL or Odyssey trans in it and it'll be well worth it...

U yes but i got it in 2000 as a xmas gift when i was in College in Daytona beach,FL. When I moved back to Eastern NC, it was not safe in winter. Cold rains weren't good for those Bridgestone Potensa S-02 Summer tires. I loved it. ran 13.8@99 stock when most were running low 14's at best. I have to thank the guys at Titan Motorsports in Orlando, FL. I was friends with the owners when rhey were running their parents mad working out of the house. I do miss it very much. And it was great being 19yo and having one. I was never an ass about it. Id let most people within reason drive it or ride. If you need help at what u should look for in a used one, pm me.

Well technically my CL is my first car. My parents sort of "gave" me their 94 Ford Taurus GL, but everything was in their name on that. Had that for about 2 years, then got sick of the constant issues (and that it was a Ford Taurus GL) so got the CL.

my first car was this 95 Honda Accord. I saved up for over a year to buy it, right before I graduated from High School.
I also just saw it for the first time a week ago on the streets, all beat up
And this is right before I sold it
One of a kind custom taillights I had made, took the lenses out and painted the whole housing black
On the door, you can see the trunk opener switch from Legends that I had installed, just needed to be sprayed.

Great thread!
These two lists are really impressive:
and...
Both great car histories. I'm especially envious of the early Buicks, the Super Beetle, the MR-2, the GTI, and (believe it or not) the Shadow.
Here's mine:
1989 Oldsmobile Eighty-Eight
1986 Volvo 740 GLE wagon (survived a 2,500+ mile roadtrip!)
1991 Buick LeSabre Limited
1996 Ford Contour
1997.5 Buick Regal GS (factory Supercharger!)
now... 2003 Acura CL Type S (AT-5)
Wow, 6 cars in 10-11 years. Hopefully my stay on the CL forums will last a little more than my past cars...

Previous car was a '93 SHO. Supercharged with a SHOShop kit and plenty of mods. Made over 400WHP. Also had an '03 Cobra making over 700WHP. Number of lame cars previous to that. Mostly winter cars and stuff.

Three Wheelin'
1981 Toyota Tercel
My dad was the first owner, sat in storage for 7 years then on to me at 17. It was a great car. Ran for ever! He even made me pay for it! I'm glad he did now!
Then several others in no particular order.
1995 hyundia accent, I beat the fuck out of this car and it took every bit!
1977 Datsun pickup with a Mopar hi-po 318 w/ about 380hp. Stupid, very stupid & Scary!
1969 Le mans w/ a 455SD. about 430hp. Went to jail twice in this car!
1983 S-10 4x4, nothing special.
1999 Pontiac Sunfire
1988 Jeep MJ Comanche, seen here.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9G1Sub-EMFQ
1998 Tahoe 4x4, compleatly built top end w/cam and raised compression. I really miss that truck. 2 Deer decided to total it out for me!
1974 Porsche 914 2.2 type 4 stroker 170hp.
2002 Jetta with mods. 225whp/298wtq.
1997 Tacoma V6 5 speed extra cab 2wd (not pre runner) with mods.
2001 CLS
2005 Pacifica AWD
I'm sure I'm forgetting something!

my first and previous car was a black 1994 ford probe GT with a klze motor swap, intake headers, full custom exhaust, udp, and chiped..
I had more problems with that car then any car ANY of you have ever had.. Ie. 2 motors, 1 tranny, 3 alternators, timing belt, distributor, 2 batteries, blown suspension, bad master cylinder... and much much more that's in 5 years
was loud as my buddys Gixxer practically.
but the cl is still faster tho :-) and i love it much more.
suspension is getting sloppy now... but i got tein comfort sport coilovers in my room, so that's no problem
