Yes i was impressed too from the 13.2 at 105. He ran 11 times 9 were 13.3 at 104mph and one 13.2 at 105 and one 13.6 at 103 because he didnt shift to 4th.
Because a mid 13s pass NA means more to me than a high 12 or low 13s pass turbocharged! If I am turbocharged... I had better be running low 12s!

Well, I the clutch broke again today at Carlsbad... first pass I took it easy... the second launched it a little harder. Mike has the videos. I am again... but it appears that the Comptech clutch makes the drivetrain just weaker. This is NOT an install issue. I can't afford to keep replacing clutches, so the stock flywheel is going back on!

Yeah... this has cost me like $3K already... so now I am putting the stock unit back on. I can't be fronting cash and downtime on this experiment anymore!

If the pressure-plate was re-designed... none of this would happen - but I am not going to risk trying to change that either.

Weird... I can't see any way you could beat an E46 at all... Just my opinion. Especially from a roll... what's to mess up? There isn't a launch... it's just straight power and weight... and torque. And I really do imagine that the straight 6 has a better torque/hp curve than you.

It was an E46 convertible... hence 300lbs heavier. I run mid 13's... what's not to beat?

only 1 vid came out. the quality isn't that great since it's a digicam taking video. the camera was acting up and i couldn't tell from the view finder if it was zooming in/out normally so...:P
I'm mailing it to Ram tonight and he can upload it if he wishes.

<shrug> I don't know, I had a chance to drive an E46 at the track (not quarter mile, real track) and I was pretty impressed. It's freaking quick off the line, and doens't get any wheel hop. That's quite impressive on an IRS system (trust me, I drive an '03 cobra, so I know all about IRS wheep hop... ) It's not as quick as my '03, but I wouldn't be surprised if it took me off the line if I was sleeping. Now I know my cobra would put the smack down on your CL, and the E46 coupe didn't feel that much slower than mine. Maybe since you took away the advantage of the RWD launch... since you apparently can't launch without blowing a clutch anyways, probably a good thing. Sorry to hear about that... hope that worked out for you.

Sorry about that... reread my original post, I sounded like a punk. Hope that clutch thing worked out for you... I know the feeling, just finished replacing a clutch on my LS Integra...
