was going down 280S this AM around 730-8 headed toward San Jose and i spotted a blk cl-s w/ full tint, extra set of fog lights, lowered, and rims. tailed him for a good 25+ miles and pulled even w/ him many times. tried to give him the "wassup" nod, but he kept on driving? where's the love fellas?

That hasn't happened to me. Last night turning left at an intersection, I see a silver CLS waiting at the light. i give him the "thumbs up" and he reciprocates. That's usually what I get. Once in awhile, however, I get a "deer in the headlights" reaction from some HS kid taking his dad's CLS out when i give him the signal.

Maybe this guy had a really bad day. Keep the faith.

Cee eL eS, I have noticed that too about a few CL-S I've tried to say wassup to. The just keep on driving and one guy even thought I wanted to race, so he cut me off. I was like - Alright whatever.. Jerk..

If you see a silver 01 TL with the new 02 Tails - Just say wassup and you'll get a wassup too.. I'll probably have my www.acura-tl.com sticker on the rear window pretty soon.

TL owners are even worse, since there aren't many TLs that are modded around here, I am always trying to see if the person driving any TLs I see on the road are someone I might know..

At least our cars stand out to some extent. My other vehicle is a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited V8, and I swear, every other vehicle I see is a Grand Cherokee!

By the way, what happened to the rule that in addition to males, only young, nubile females may buy the CL-S?

For the CLs, you're going to have a pretty diverse group of people so it really depends on the person driving.

Almost a year ago, I made a comment about TL drivers not acknowledging the new CL drivers. I know it has taken a year, but I'm ready to retract that comment.

I always check out the TLs and CLs on my commute. Since I take major roads (I287, I684, and the Taconic) I see a decent amount of each, but every time they are driven by older guys / gals and they are not modded on bit. I'll even bet their seat location hasn't changed since they picked up their car....

I'm near to Buckhead on Collier Rd. Close by is an exit for Howell Mill rd off I-75. I'd like to see some of the mods on your car.

I've done COmptech springs and Toyo Proxes T1S and am real happy with the handling now. Black with tan leather and full wood.

i rarely see a new cl-p or cl-s. on my commute this am i see 2 black s's within 5 mts. not a nod or a look. dead from the neck up.one with a spoiler was from my dealership too!!!!

I hear ya. I have givin up. I have seen several over the last few months. Catch up to them in traffic and it's an older person. They could care less what going on around them.
I get more nods and thumbs up from people who aren't driving Acura's than people who are.

Silver CL-P w/ a couple : Gave them the thumbs up and they were confused at first but broke into a wide grin and were pointing/laughing when I was driving a CL-S.

Silver CL-S : Gave him the thumbs up, he nodded back at me.
