XM Sirus Dephi - Digital Radio Questions
I am thinking obout getting the digital radio for my cars, but I have a few questions that werent answered when I did a search.
If I have 2 cars with the system installed, do you need to pay for 2 seperate subscriptions? Or does 1 subscription do all you cars?
Which system do you all prefer?
I only saw a few pics of the system mounted. Does anyone have any good pics of where they mounted the screen?
Can you buy and install the system yourself, or does a shop have to do it?

Dont worry about replying. I changed my mind after reading a bunch of articles about most radio stations putting out digital signals and such in the near future. Many see the satellite radio phase to die out in a few years...

i have xm. I have an alpine system with the tuner mounted between the coinholder and preset buttons. It does not interfere with either.
i have not heard sirius yet, but chose XM because several people had it already.
There are commercials, but very few and they are short and more tasteful than the same old crap you get (especially in the lehigh valley).
i had circuit city do it, but i was in the garage with them 90% of the time. you can do it by yourself, but i'm sure it would be tedious.

the problem with digital radio signals is that you'll get their commercials in digital quality...that's if you ahve a digital-ready receiver too.
i read many of those articles too, but look at it this way...xm and sirius are steadily increasing share, and everyday more and more automakers are offering these systems, some even standard.
i'm sure most of those articles are biased.
