Xephyr - for the record

I feel the need to set the record straight. I really think what your doing with your CAI's is great. It is an asset to our cl community. The setup is nice and the fact that you can quickly change it to a short ram is a great feature too.

I have felt the need to defend the AEM CAI because it seemed like noone else was going to do it. I have since been informed that I don't need to go so far, their CAI's have been selling like hotcakes. You have a great group of buyers that are willing to stand up for your product. What else can a vendor ask for? In defending the AEM CAI I may have said things that may have been negative towards you and your product. It can be difficult to separate the man from the product. I realize that negative comments about your work can be taken more personally since you are Xephyr. If we bag on comptech, or eibach or injen there is no actual man that would get hurt by the critical comments. At this point I would like to say good job with the CAI and keep up the great work, Chris. . From now on I'll remember that you are Chris, not just Xephyr2k LLC.

ok!! now how about that back to back comparison, let the test data rule; then go back and make them better. You have to have competition, the buyers benefit.

Well done.

This is the spirit of our board.

It raises the conversation to a higher level.

We might all try to remember this about each other.

Arnold,

Thank you for that post It really shows a level of maturity that many people dont have. It is often difficult for me to refrain from posting personal opinions and blatent flames (even if I really really want to ) becuase I have become known on here as a vendor and I try to maintain a level of professionalism. I have no ill feelings toward you or anyone in this group. Additionally, I have a new respect for you personally, as you have the pride to defend your personal opinion and yet post the message above to keep things in a friendly demeanor I do my best to try and post based on the numbers and facts, but I am but human so some posts will trigger my defense mechanism. I appreciate your taking this step to cool some of the heat the topic has generated. Again, thank you for your post and I too apologize if I crossed and boundaries that invaded your ethics or credibility under the firestorm of the past few days

Sincerely,

Christopher J. Koncur - Mr. Xephyr
