WTF is my dealer's service dept. smoking?!

These prices are weird...
Here's the pricelist they gave me today (don't ask which dealer):

<img src="http://epurcell.dyndns.com:70/webfiles/pricelist.gif">

So it's over $110 for an oil change, and next time they'll charge me $73 to fucking inspect the parking brake?! What the hell?!
Can I expect similar pricing at other Acura dealers?

If not... can someone recommend a less expensive place to take my CL around the DC/VA area? I don't wanna void the warranty by taking it to some pep dick boys and having them mess up my car.

... Or am I just a cheap unreasonable bastard?

it is a lot of inspections not just the oil change as i saw from your service list..and that is for 7500 miles..for me..i just have the tire rotated and oil change..and that is for free..as canada acura offer first 3500 miles and 7000 miles service free..and my cls hit 15000 miles..i just have the tranny fluid changed and oil changed only for about $75...
it is your choice just to have the oil change without those inspections..and each different acura have their own service plans and prices..so check out some of your local acuras..good luck lol

I'm at 30k. The only thing the dealer needs to do is "Inspect" and adjust everything and replace the tranny fluid. I did my own oil + filter, air filter, AC filters. I'm buying new tires (no balance/rotation). I'm hoping for a $100-150 price.

I noticed that dealer did not include the AC filters in the 30k. I bet they want another $90 for an "AC service" = 2 $20 filters, filter install, inspect, clean, temp check.

I go to an independent. I had my oil changed last week. He specializes in Japanese cars. He charged me $22.

other options...

places like "jiffy lube" "speedy lube" and other independent places are just as professional and provide good service at competitive prices.

they also check up on all other aspects of your car

i've only had good experience with them so far.

good luck!
