The T1S' are very sticky. I'll be lucky if I get 20k miles out of them though. how about some details about your race?

I can do decent burnouts w/the T1S' Depending on the street surface I'd say it's a good 10-15 foot burnout. Spinning the tires @ WOT throttle is a good thing (to an extent) in order to get the revs up.

Come on Steve! Give us the details on that race!! Sounds like you got slaughtered

ya a good 4 cars or so...i had just added air to my tires...mistake #1....i think when you see a car sling shot off the line maybe i over did it and spun even more...it's obvious to me the real difference in the times our car sees is the launch...i think it's really a 6.0 car stock if you can launch it..i think i have 5.5-5.75 in me if ...if i can get off the line well...toyo has a good offer 50 day 500mile gaurantee...refund if not satisfied

run 25-27psi on some 225s....and you'll make up a lot on the launch especially on the street....and once you overcome the fact that the WRX is probably .5 quicker off the line...you'll charge on his Scoobie and shoot past him.....and leave that WTF!! look on his face...

Slap on a set of D.O.T approved drag radials and try to start from a roll. If the wrx is stock you should be able to pull on him. If he/she is highly modded then just pretend you weren't really racing.

...lol......ive decied on the nitto 555R do you think 245/45 will fit...the reason i think it'll be fine is...the 235/45 recomend 7.5/80 /8.5...same as 245/45 so why not???plus someone on this board has 245's....and they're 25.6 tall almost perfect...

Yep, that's what I'd slap on. The nitto 555R's are some sticky ass tires. You could probably get them to fit on your wheels. Ideally speaking though, you'd want to put them on a set of 8" wide wheels. I know the thinnest wheel they recommend is a 7.5" though.
