We both fucked up on our first run so badly, its not even worth mentioning.

2 of 2 runs against each other.

I'm too sleepy to post details and times.

Looks like Mantis got it. Good work all! Love the vid. Boy that Subara sure got him off the line though.

No one will believe I won that one . . . :P

All in all a good showing by the DFW Acura Guys.

We had Mantis (CLS) beating (Inferno) WRX STi
We had Danny25 (CLS) beating a Honda S2000
and we had yours truely (TLS) beating a G35C

how the hell did you beat a SCed G35? Something must be in that Texas water!

Damn Mantis, your car just pulled when you hit the nitrous!

Where'd y'all go afterwards??? NON?

Nothing in the water that I know of. :P

I did get a .347 better reaction and if I recall correctly, I got another .125 or so on the 60' . . . so that's .472 right there he had to make up, especially since that was my 14.588 run.

His time ended up better than mine, so a faster car , , just could not hang. He even had another guy driving for him because he was still a new at it.

To be honest with you, I think there are some issues with the SC not being set up right. But he said it was a factor job so who knows.

we didn't leave the track until after 2:00 am, so NON was out of the question.

Nice, I missed that run. That must have been the one where Inferno bailed and you were stuck in that far left side that wasn't moving.

Nice work, Mantis! Just remember, we both need to get to where are cars SHOULD be--into the 13s. I figure if I can get my 60' times into the respectable range, I should drop enough overall to get there. You need to work on finding some serious traction--you have the power. How did the third run do?

I'm sure if you would have taken a 3rd run you would have broken in to the 13s as well.

None the less, see you jump out of the hole like that puts a smile on ones face.

You KNOW I will get there. Damn, that did look quick off the line--and that was with a 2.1 60 foot time. Lots of WRX's are getting that down to 1.9 or less. I figure that the 0.2 in the 60' has got to be worth 0.4 overall--which puts it down to 13.9x. Now I have my work cut out for me...

And sorry Inferno, no offense, but Mantis is already down in the 14.5s and the 75shot should put him in the high 13s.

My bet is Mantis will run a 13.89 and Inferno a 14.07.

Let's see's who's guess will be the closest.

And man I'm really pissed that I'm missing out tomorrow night. :'(

Ruf
Mantis and Inferno, now what were your best times?

And I guess I owe Mantis a

Yes, he lost the 1st race as he was busy taking about 5,000 miles of treadwear off of his tires. :P
