wrong plugs

Just replaced plugs in my 01 CL-S. I should have used the PZFR6E-11 (which are a bit hotter for the type S model) but had to install PZFR5F-11 which are for the CL-P. Is there a noticeable difference in performance? Does anyone strongly reccomends to replace with the correct temperature plug?

I used the Iridium IX but the temperature number is 5 (cooler) for the CLP - I had to install those - should have used the Iridium IX but temperature number 6 (correct for the type S, a bit hotter than the ones CL-P uses). I ask this because my car is definitely going to be running better (replaced a bunch of stuff that was needed) but still have the annoying doubt that with the correct plug it should be performing even better (that thought keeps bugging me). I have reviewed a few posts about the spark plugs but still not clear if there is a definite noticeable difference.

Other way around. Higher number the colder the plug.

I am not being cheap using the CL-P plugs, they were sent wrong and i can not exchange them... I have to buy new ones in order to replace. Should I forget about that and just leave the ZFR5FIX-11 that are installed new or should I spend my $ again and buy the ZFR6FIX-11. Does anyone know if there is a noticeable difference in performance?

A spark is a spark.....the 6FIX plugs are COLDER plugs which means they transfer more heat to the heads than the 5FIX plugs. So will your engine run too hot now? I doubt it, only if you are making 1/4 mile runs every weekend at the track then I would switch them out. With winter coming, I'd say don't worry about it.
