Wrecked CL-S

Has anyone here recently wrecked/totaled a white 03 CL-S with Manual trans? Rear end smashed in. The car looks like it has an exhaust. Has 47k miles on it. Trying to get some details on it. Around PA area.

Smashed rear-end and it likely needs a 105k tuneup? I'll pass.

Interesting response. 1.) OP not offering for sale but looking for owner or info. 2.) Car has 47k miles but likely needs 105k tuneup?

It's 105k miles OR 7 years. That car is well over 7 years old now. Even if you don't drive that much, the rubber in the timing belt still breaks down and needs to be replaced. Seals in the water pump can deteriorate with time. Most times a car that is driven regularly will be in much better shape as it's usually time, not mileage that breaks those things down.

Only driving about 4k miles a year means you can have to deal with other fun like seals breaking down throughout the car. Rubber dries out. Lots of fun.

Im only asking about it to see if it was someone on here, not trying to sell it.

Yeah I know it would need a tune up. But the car isnt work the repairs in my opinion est. $8,000+ repair cost.

Reason Im looking at it... is to possibly buy it, strip it, part it out and scrap whats left.

I see it says you live in Cali. This car has a "PA CERTIFICATE OF SALVAGE" title. Did you recently move to Cali?

Yea like I used to live in CA I moved back to PA like 1 year ago. Why you ask about tho car. It's low mill age but the under carrage is wrecked and the engine is knocking from me forgetting to change the oil in it. Ended up burning it up and before I realized I need to change it the engine started knocking really bad. I checked the oil and there was none in it. It was too late. It still drove but really badly. Them luckly some rear ended me and the car flew over a curb and destroyed the under carrage. As well as the pass anger rear side quarter pannel truck bumper everything in the rear passenger side. Sucks to cause I put in a decent exhaust system and some cheap strut bar I put on it. Didn't have the chance to pull them off oh and my double din CD player was left on it as we'll. is that the same car your talking about? If so where did you see it. Like you saw in person?

It's white with white interior and has a double din CD player in it. I bought it stock of some old guy with 14k miles on It about a year ago. Then slowly put the exhaust on it and strut bar as well as the CD player. It was nice when I had it but after the car accident it wasn't worth buying it back from insurance. The engine also has a crack in it. So engine needed to get replaced. That's why I didn't buy it back main reason. The only thing worth of value in the car was the exhaust I bought off eBay for 100$.

he hasn't found any of those problems that member mentioned above while removing parts, and that timeline didnt match up according to records of sales, so we think what this member below was saying earlier
