Which would you rather have?

If you had the choice between these 2 brand new cars which would you choose an '03 NSX or an '03 GT-R?
I am not sure this one is a toss up... Handling(midengine) and style of NSX.
Or Handling(AWD) and Style and Mod ability of the Skyline?
Considering both are head turners and pretty rare which would you rather have? And if you picked a skyline would you have the steering wheel moved over to the left?

Love the NSX, but I might have to go with the Skyline. A little more rare and faster acceleration.

I would go with whatever is cheaper to MOD. Im guessing the Skyline would have more parts for it.

Definitely the Skyline. The NSX is a rare car, but not nearly as rare as the Skyline (in the USA), not to mention the Skyline is a sweet car, especially when its modded.

Especially a '03 GT-R Skyline.

Man, I figured there would be more opinions than this..Some people here love to go off on tangents on why one is better than the other.

That would be expensive and you would lose some stuff such as AC and Twin Turbo because stuff such as that can not be easily switched to left hand drive.

Skyline...TT, AWD, rear wheel steering, the sick launch capabilities due to AWD, pigs worst nightmare in a chase.

NSX...MR....hold on still thinking....1 more sec....nope can't think of anyhting else.

Peiqing...Motorex switches it all over and I'm pretty sure you can keep the TT.

Skyline. I LOVE those cars. NSX is too weak for my tastes, even if it does handle amazingly well.

Thats what would be sweet about driving a Skyline around here, most people know what it is and would flip out if they saw one around here, and it'd be awesome to have a right hand drive car in the us!

Skyline...I've always wanted to put hydraulics in an AWD car. Great for rolling 3-wheels.

If you really want a GTR, why not wait for the next generation. I would worry about the aftersale service and repair and OEM parts since it is not carried into the U.S. by Nissan. Is Motorex responsible for it? Even so, it would not be convenient. Due to all these concerns, I would choose NSX. And for sure would not change the GTR to left hand steering, too much modification then it wouldn't be a new car anymore. Just my opinions.

Skyline...

BTW, if you can afford to import one i don't think worrying about spares etc. will be an issue.

I don't think the rednecks around here would know what a Skyline was, so I'd have to choose an NSX.

Besides, I've always wanted one... underpowered and overpriced as it is.

'Course, I wouldn't kick either one outta bed for eatin' crackers.

Yeah I think I would have to get a R-34 V-spec w/ Blackbird kit.
For about $110k you get an R34 with 430 whp on 92 octane, 550whp if you put race gas in it. And you are talking about a car that run 4.7sec 0-60 and 12.7 1/4miles with the stock 280crank ponies and 293ft-lbs tq. It would be around 3.3-3.6 range 0-60 with the Blackbird mods, pretty sick, and they have a mod package for 700hp and still drivable....CRAZY!!!!!
What do you guys think of the Mosler Photon???
How sick is that car granted $210K is steep, but a car that pulls over 1g in a skid pad, 0-60 in under 3.5, and looks so hard.....
Oh I can DREAM....Too bad they won't take some Monopoly money, then I'd have some cool cars....

I thought one of the reasons nissan didn't export the car here is because it would be too hard and expensive to convert to a left hand drive

I don't know the specifics, but I've seen several guys on other forums import skylines and get them converted. I don't know how much it costs though.

motorex just makes them US legal... but not left hand drive... the way Skyline motor/tranny is setup, it will not be possible to convert from right to left.

I would go for Skyline R34 V-Spec II
